Hey Mick great ride report, That was the best weekend ride ive had for a long time.I met a heap of great blokes all with a common interest, had the chance to ride on some of the best trails in the country(world)awsome stuff!
Thanks also go to Ant for Sweeping and all the lads for helping each other out when they needed it,like me when my bike got stuck in the filthiest bog going. Also a big thanks to KTMRAT for helping me and Dean get home after my Rekluse clutch was screaming for mercy!Rick also had a blast and this was just what the doctor ordered for him,he is now looking at buying my 360 off me to get a bit more involved.Although I didnt ride on Sunday,I went to my olds place and did about 4 hours around Maria state forest on some cross country style tracks on my brothers WR450.I only fell off once! I just got home about 30 minutes ago and jumped on the computer to check out the ride reports, good stuff!! cheers Boys looking forward to coming up there again sometime.B)

    cheers Ollie

Ive done it both ways, but im to impatient I usually silver solder a plate on both ends one with a shroder valve, put about 50 psi in it and heat it up,works a treat, spins out the young guys at work when they see me doing this though.always repeat always wear the correct PPE when doing this!:woohoo:

Hey Ollie the local retread dude here is giving me one to try, so I will be running one for the first time on the XR600 this weekend. He is supplying me with a 120/90 which is what size I normally run.
How long have you been running them.

gyday Mick, ive been using them for about 7 years all up,originally started with the recross and liked them, and in the last 3 years have been a dealer for MX retreads.I’ll have a new front this weekend but will change the rear after the 3 days of riding this weekend.Mark Bearman (MX retreads guru)has told me that the tyre sizes all come out at 110/90 when they get re-capped,works fine on the Yami 4fitty.

if anybody wants to try a retread this weekend or on future rides give me a PM and I will bring some along only $70 each to old bulls (normally $80ea or $150 for 2)
