Hey gilli,I got some new Acerbis YZ plastics for my WR from the wreckers at Silverwater $60 front and rear! I have flatland braces on my Wr from Thumpertalk about $90 delivered. But my mate who hasa 07 WR450 has no complaints with the force brand at about $120 delivered. B&B gaurds look to be super strong and trick looking but a bit exspensive.

    cheers Ollie

It hasn’t put you out of action has it?? I rode for three days with a cracked rib last time the boys were here, you just have to stand up and ride the whole time as it hurts to sit. It is still a bit sore to touc hand that is all but 2 months ago.
I am looking forward to seeing the Frankenmachine you have rigged up for Rick!!! Like to tinker do you Ollie?

Gyday Mick,No mate im still good to go It would take more than a cracked rib to stop me!Its actually an old injury (the first time was a rolled golf buggy in western Samoa,we got sick of golf and decided to rally cross instead!! )
I wouldnt say I like to tinker, sometimes you have to think outside the square and do what you have to do:laugh:

This is funny: picture this,in the Garage its 1:30 in the morning ive consumed at least a half bottle of Bundy and coke.Ive pulled the forks out of the Husky and Im pumping the brake side up and down with my full body weight to check the extent of the leakage.Cause IM tired, drunk clumsy or whatever, anyway I slip and the bloody fork leg centre puches me in the lower rib cage!! Instant pain I drop to the ground, tears welling up in my eyes, cracked rib thanks for coming. I must remember to slow down that rebound!

Welcome to the Forum Crumpet:) The good thing about having the CR is you only have to do a few mods to it and you can get Rec rego and be legal to ride in the bush down there in Mexico.unlike up here in the ripoff state. I know the numbers are getting bigger lets unite for the common goddam dirtbiker good and march on macquarie street for a better deal!!! Mac you have great powers of persuasion, how about it?;)

pls read this with the touch of sarcasim that it was intended with
