Ha Ha, I know what you mean, but at least you felt like you were riding a trick bit of kit! A rather overweight friend of mine (gyday Pud if your there)who was always at the back of the pack taking crap, one day something got up his nose and with no word of a lie,he was the fastest guy out there and was riding like he was possessed!! ( he was also on an old run down PE250c) amazing, no one laid crap on him after that!

yeah I agree! Heaps of creek crossings flatout open country where I wish the ol 360 had another gear :woohoo: and some pretty good uphills to sought the men from the boys. The only other rides that come close are the cross country races held by Dungog MCC at Salisbury during the Hunter Tri series.Do you know if the Nulla creek rides are still happening?

Gyday Mick!,The weapon is the bike that started it all for me its a Deltek Rockhopper(i think?) from 1970.Sorry no XR6 bikes or parts in the shed but I will list what I have later as I have to get rid of a few.Wauchope to Willawarren sounds good.I think I have a few trailzone or sidetrack mags that might even have GPS co-ordinates for that trip I will have a squiz later for you.Ross tells me the ride he just went on at Wauchope was awsome let me know when your doing another.I mainly ride around Maria river state forest as the old’s place backs right onto it.I havnt ridden up river for quite some time but I was a regular racer at the Nulla Nulla creek cross country that was run by MDMC.
    bikes in shed:
    04WRF450
    99 KTM 300 & 380
    98 Husqvarna 360
    98 tricked up RMX
96 Husky 250 (sons trail weapon)
05 Kawasaki KXF250 (sons race weapon)
83 Suzuki gsx550 going into a sidewinder dune buggy that is partially complete and hanging from the roof of my garage!
    70 something XL100 with a xl 125 donk (daughters)
83 CR80 no motor might graft 125 donk into it,cause I can:woohoo: oh and I also have an 83 IT250 at a mates place that I have to pickup.I also wouldnt mind finding a 80-81 PE400x in good condition if anyone knows the whereabouts of one.(my first race weapon)

hey fella’s,there is a GPS forum that is really helpful although can sometimes be rather techo oriented I think it is http://www.gpsaustralia.net and they have plenty of DBW’s (Dirt Bike Wankers)on there probably a big majority.I have a Garmin colour screen jobby and it works a treat cost me about $330 from Canada on Ebay with maps already loaded.I also use ozexplorer software but have not used the GPS that often to really know what Im talking about.I can tell you though dont scimp on quality as you get what you pay for and go for a quality unit like Garmin as they are well supported ie upgrades, map compatability and ease of use. This is my second unit.the first got run over by a BMW when it my bag and gear was blown out of my trailer and onto the F3:S hope this helps
