Best thing he did mate was get a steering damper for his RMX (which is not an easy feat to fit) His bars are cut narrower and when he turns his bars in the ST he has a very light grip as his wrist cant move sideways or up and down. (little bugger can ride pretty quick too )

Hey Two banger not good news mate. But im sure you will be able to do a work around. Look at the boys who were on that buckets ride and were paraplegics inspirational stuff. Mate Ive got the tops of 3 of my middle digits missing, makes braking on big downhills intersting :woohoo: and throttle control isnt great going over whoops and rough stuff but hey I still get out there. My brother shane got a disease in his wrist and had his wrist fused in such a way that he can still grip a throttle,Drs shook their head and said “bloody motorbike riders” So mate even though you are probably at a low point now, when you get out there and learning to adapt and overcome it will be all good ;)

look forward to hooking up for a ride with ya one day ;)

I remember about 20 years ago I had a Lazer helmet. We had a really wet weekend ride up at Buladelah I placed my helmet and boots near the fire to dry out next morning the helmet had deformed to a totally unusable blob. They were apparently 100% Nylon. The heat had also exposed a flaw in the Join line a decent hit would have opened it up like a water melon :S

Oh Man!! need a bit more notice :( got all the electrics pulled apart on the XR and have other plans for Sunday. wouldve been a good ride though eh lotsa ?

would the 16 litre clarke tank be enough for this ride or would I need to get a fuel cell? can get close to 300km commuting into the City.

    Ollie

You need a fuel range of 350km Ollie. Do your sums for the 16lt Clarke tank. An XR650 would eat these trails.

    Sorry about the short notice.

    lotsa

no worries Wayne looks like I might have to grab a fuel cell from adventure moto.

have a good ride mate ;)

Welcome to the site Matt, there are a few Old Bulls (and Heifers :cheer: ) up your way mate. Great riding area at Wallaroo, done a fair bit at Dungog and Chichester.
