Hey Razz, I was actually thinking of you when I was out there. Next time I come up I will give you a shout. I am slowly piecing together a loop. Others have been out and about as well,(wish they would do some track maintenance as well )

Been commuting on the XR for over a month, first ride on the Gasgas for nearly 6 months.

I took the Gasser out on the trails behind my olds place at Maria SF. I took revenge with a chain saw on the log that brought me unstuck and broke my collarbone and ribs , then cleaned up the rest of the mx track and cleared some logs down scribbly gum rd. I was knackered by the time I got home. Fitness still an issue and getting some strength back . I will sleep well tonight

OK Burnsey Hope your sitting down  From an Australian online suzuki dealer and if the part number is correct (32900-44E6 ?) then its going to cost $915

best to make a phone call to a local Suzi dealer and make sure the part number is correct

The US site I was thinking of is Alpha – sports most of the CDI’s I saw on there were in the mid $500 dollar range as well

you may have to do a cross reference check google is your friend (something like alpha suzuki comes to mind) might be lucky with 95-98 RM250

When I bought my RMX it already had the CDI changed out by the previous owner, I might have a lead on a near complete RMX for you as well I will get back to you when I find out.

ride fast enough that you dont fall off ;) The falling off is the part that slows you down and gets in your head  smooth and in control is the way uses a lot less energy. When waiting for your team mate relax have something to eat and drink, make sure you have a piss, when your racing you dont need to think about all the other stuff you gotta concentrate on being smooth. Enjoy it for what it is,remember your priorities as well, family friends income, your there to have fun and a challenge, your not racing for “sheep stations”

After 4 hours at the lovely Kempsey Hospital today, I have a broken (completely snapped) collar bone and three cracked ribs … no wonder that last 20 or 30k’s f*ckin hurt like hell! :pinch: I actually don’t remember much of that last bit of the ride … thank you adrenalin :woohoo: And why do doctor’s always give you “that look” when you say “it was on a dirt bike”?! Bugger off and get a life! 👿

So I’ve got 6 to 8 weeks of no riding (f*ck it!), 6 to 8 weeks to shop for LOTS of armour, new goggles (they got screwed over by some stray vine), new helmet (smashed the peak and scratched the shit out of it in “the incident”). 6 to 8 weeks. :( :(

    Razz. :) :)

Razz mate I feel your pain man  I only got to spend an hour at kempsey before being carted off to Port Macquarie but seemed longer because the ER had about 5 ferals all A.D.D going off tap before I lost the plot and told em to get the F@#k out of there ! amazing what the adrenaline does for you I only had to ride about 7 km’s to get home but it sure as hell wasnt pleasant :( spent 7 days at port then another 2 at ST Vincents getting a plate put in which they should have done at Port. Been 12 weeks now but still not right getting there tho hope you recover quicker than me.

great photies and Vids I know that it would have been awsome riding and to help support a charity even better. well done I got a bit of a fright when I scrolled down the photies and a big rude Dude closeup jumped out at me :woohoo:
