Thanks Pete Mike and Eags the pain was real, dont want to do that in a hurry again. I am on the lookout now for some body armour that may offer more protection againt rib and shoulder crush injuries than the sixsixone body suit ive been using. any ideas anyone. This is the second lot of ribs Ive damaged whilst using a pressure suit Daienese first then the sixsixone. never had an issue with the old Polisport body armour. open to suggestions

No worries guys I am resting up and slowly on the mend. Got to watch what I eat as I cant cough or laugh bloody hurts too much. Jeffro yeah mate only going steady as Had to drive back to Sydney and was by my lonesome, just unlucky the way I landed I guess.
Mal thanks for the reminder  a 4 stroke what the hell was I thinking  Kinda lucky I wasnt on the XR probably wouldnt have been able to pick that up let alone start the bloody thing :side:Ollie
yeah no worries TB not having a dig I know that some pads are stupidly cheap and quality is definatley out the window. The racediscs I get for the GG are made in Britain and are very good.
The o/size disc I put on my CRF front end works great cant fault it actually but then again I also havnt put that many miles on it either, guess time will tell, but it was available and affordable at the time and for a trailrider plonker like me does the job well. hope it continues in that vain, if it doesnt I will get a different brand.ollie

in all honesty mate,i would trial the chinga discs and see how they go. if your not happy with the way they perform or last move on and get EBC,racedisc,Galfer whatevever. for $150 dollars who cares. but rest assured the 270mm who ever makes it will be twice the disc as the standard pos honda 240mm.
good info there Nick thanks
yes they are the same
my forks are crf250X disc is CRF250R
Ollie
No probs mate the oversize disc you want is 270mm for Enduro/Trail or 320 for Motard. They are chinese but work well.
I put an EBC oversize on my XR650 and its been good as well (bit more exspensive tho)

go the oversize rotor you wont regret it you can recalibrate the vapor unit and also get a magnetic bolt pickup from trailtech. I got an oversize unit off ebay for my Gasser with the 07 CRF front end About $150 delivered.
racedisk also make excellent discs they are a UK based mob and also on Ebay.Ollie
