No he didnt mention the slip streaming  but he did say something about that little incident going to cost you some money getting the Tenere to go quicker
Not a bad effort from a bog stock DR

And from what I hear from reliable sorces is it still will be faster than the Tenere
Thanks for the Great time we had at this event to every one involved. Had a fun time riding on the juniors track on the Saturday and the same track on the Sunday with the Pro’s and experts. Phillips has a big future he is definatley one crazy Mofo. I met up with a heap of my old mates from Dungog MCC with Trent Lean takng out thee Masters section both days on his RMX450. It was good catching up with the OB who attended and helped out, even Kev and Moose helped with the scoring etc. Big thanks to Moose and Kath for letting us stay at his place and putting on the top BBQ also thanks Giddo for the Gasgas cap
> Adam has a bit of work ahead of him getting to know how a KTM gearbox goes together and I think Kram is going to invest in a rear Mousse Tube as well . Sam and Luke certainly showed some good speed on the tight single trails and I dont think it will be long before Sam starts doing a few races
All in all a great effort from everyone who attended and especialy Protty and the Hastings Motorcycle club. I hope Dungog can put on a great event in October at salisbury .Ollie

nice one Nato
ollie
The GRO stuff that Mal uses does smell good though

Corey, I use Havoline or Mobil. The Havoline is a semi synthetic which I like as it is not as Hygroscopic as a fully synthetic ie it will always leave a film of oil on all surfaces even when the bike hasnt been started in a while, get it from the servo for about $12 a litre and I mix at 40:1 have had a very good run out of it.
Ollie
welcome to the GG club Nato
the 2010 is a dead set sexy machine. Like I mentioned before any info you want put up the questions and will try and help you. You will love this bike gauranteed

August 31, 2011 at 5:58 pm in reply to: Current high performance 4 stroke bikes……. frustration #207979Yep Ive had my share of WR’s and YZF’s and they are a great bike. I have personally witnessed 2 Gearbox failures on WR’s both 250 and 450. From memory 5th on the 250 and 3rd on the 450. apparently they dont come with enough backcut on the gears. seems like you have had a good run with yours, plenty havnt.

Engine wise I agree scotty, Gearbox issues let em down, seen it many a time.
