I did the Friday ride B) but had to pull out of the saturday ride :( We did some awsome tracks up to Gingers Creek, The fog getting to Elands was as thick as Pea soup only had about 15 metres visibility and googles were useless:laugh: We saw plenty of wild life both alive and dead  Young Sam and I stopped to watch to 4 foot long red belly black snakes inter twined and raised up:laugh:  (what does a snake have to do to get a root around here  ) Unfortunatley due to a couple mechenical failures we didnt get to gingers until about 3 pm and we had to main trail and black top it back to Wauchope :( The 300 two stroke didnt like that and niether did I

I managed to hit a square edged pot hole and jarred the bejeezus out of my already F#@%ed up thumb so I text Mick this morning that I was a no show :( they will be having some fun as it is still raining on and off.

So that was the big bang she let rip with on Saturday?? Lucky she blew up where it did mate. I would suggest that you contact Watt and Parsons Engineering in Port. 6581 2203

    They are in Arcacia Avenue.

I just gave them a call and they said they can do it. (the chicky babe on reception said they could anyhow).

Yep those guys did the crank on my Old RMX im rebuilding only cost $80 B) concur with what the rest say and get a shop to do it.

Hey Damo, mate all of the new 300’s are pretty damn good now adays.

The KTM is a great all rounder able to do anything anywhere “E-start” and except for the PDS everything is sorted, they may be a bit taller in the saddle if anything plenty of Bling stuff available as well. Sutto;s will look after you with the spares as well.
The Husky is a very good thing with plenty of poke maybe a little dated in its styling and parts can be an issue but that is probably being sorted by the take over from BMW. I think Mal may have had a few issues with his 09 300 but you see plenty of em at the 4 day.R&D Husky at Emu Plains NSW are the go to guys for the right advice IMHO on anything Husky.
TM300 is a great bike with plenty of the go fast stuff as standard, they have been tamed down in the last few years as well but can really light up when the noise maker is wound open, downside is they run a single ring (more maintenance) ans have heard that some have crank seal issues. top notch suspension etc and Cross action motorcycles are a great bunch of blokes.

The Gasgas is a fantastic trail bike and ever increasingly popular they come with lots of good stuff standard and there is plenty of after market stuff now being made for them. These bikes have a lower seat height to suit short arses like me. MudnTar at Wauchope help me out bigtime with spares and Scotties in VIC are also awsome with loads of knowledge. Spare parts prices are very realistic and available quickly. The Euro shown below is a limited edition and this engine hauls:woohoo: :woohoo: The new 2011 300;s have a beefed up starter and looks damn sexy

Yep Ive had a couple 82 200 82 500 84 250 85 500 and a couple of XL’s as well!! Very good little bike the 250 they do need to have the oil changed often as they dont carry much. I think most parts should still be readily available at the local Honda dealer.
I had my arse put on a platter by Tony Vickers before he went to TM. He was on a 91 280 and I was on a brand new 92 Husky 360. We were racing MX at Barleigh Ranch Raymond Terrace.

Mal, Ive had the Hyde plastic bash plate, a whipps alloy monster on my old husky 360 and as TB mentioned the Carbon Fibre protective skin on Numerous bikes (RMX Gasser Husky 360 (2) and Ktm 300)
I did like the Hyde plastic job but the leaves and Mud etc were a pain in the arse I also thought the stainless fittings were a bit piss ant but protection was good as the plastic tends to spread the impact over the gaurd.
The Whipps pipe gaurd was very good as well, a bit heavy and ungainly looking but it could certainly take some abuse, the negatives were it stuck out a bit and could get hung up on ruts and close logs when travelling at pace in the tight single track. also smaller rocks still managed to get to the pipe and dent the exspansion chamber.
The carbon fibre and fibreglass skins I think are the go,they dont offer the same impact protection of the alloy whipps etc when jumping logs and climbing over rocks but fo the majority are excellent from flying rocks from a XR650 or the simple laydown or baseball bat etc
If you hit a big enough log with the CF gaurd you could bend the pipe at the intake, but these are fairly easily repaired. I try and hit logs with a bit of momentum to avoid the pipe being damaged .A new FMF pipe ATM is about $260 delivered to aust

A Gorgeous young 25 year old women and an 85 year old man get married.
The women decides that due to his age she didnt want to have him die on her during their marital consumation and they are to have two seperate bed rooms. Fine the old Geeza thought, happy with that.
They get married have the reception and everything and eventually make their way back to the Hotel. The womwn goes to her room and the man to his.
about 1/2 an hour later the women hears the expected knock on the door. They get into it for about 40 minutes and they both reach the big “o” several times. The ol boy gets up then goes back to his room.
about 1/2 an hour later there is another knock on the door, the old boy lets himself in again and has his way with his new bride again performing like a stud, after about 40 minutes he finishes then heads back to his own room.
about another 1/2 an hour later the ol boy again knocks on the door and has his wicked ways with his bride. The brides head was still spinning from the two previous encounters,The groom makes his young nubile bride reach the big “o” again several times before finishing. As he gets up to go the bride grabs hold of his arm and says you are amazing,I have been with guys 1/3 of your age and they have not performed any where near as good as the 3 visits that you have been! The old fella looks at her bemused and says what? have I been here tonight aleady!!
