BTW Tez your RMX is probably worth about $2.5k at the most, 2nd hand 04/5 Yamaha wr250 probably close to $4-5 K but probably a good choice or a DRZ 400 probably similar.

Riding in Heat Sucks!! I have done a few big rides where the temps were in the Mid forties on the coast!! (one about a year ago with Kram ) the airconditioning and cold beer when we got back to the olds was life saving!! As most of us OB’s are now getting up in the age brackets our health is not what it used to be, riding in high heat puts increased stress on the body especially the heart,the chances of crashing are heaps higher. In recent times people have died out in the bush doing what we love doing, I for one restrict my riding in the summer and hit the beach or rivers more.This time of year is my maintenance period of soughts. This is my take on it. funnily enough last week in Sydney was heat wave,this week is perfect mid twenties!!
