Hey Scotty whats doing with the 4orbie purchase? I am interested in what you get as im thinking of trading in the Courier as well
Ollie
$69 is bloody cheap
normaly $99 I dont think there would be to much at risk for that, especially if only trail ridden. I know Murphs young fella goes pretty good on his 2 hungey and would be the same cost as getting it welded! No brainer for me, I think I would give em a try

The easiest way to get it right every time is to make up a small “go no Go” gauge, basicly a flat piece of wood that has been cut to the correct height which you slip under the chain on top of the swing arm in the same place every time. Obviously you have to get the chain to the right tension first to determine what this height is
just make sure the chain adjusters are done up evenly both sides.

Our Julia (aka “Big red’) and The Pope
The Pope and Julia Gillard are on the same stage
at the MCG in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Ms Gillard and said,
“Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they’ll forever speak of this day and rejoice!”
Gillard replied,
“I seriously doubt that. With one little wave of your hand?
Show me!”So the Pope backhanded her

With the new exhaust I would trial the standard needle first as from experience the new exhaust will only really affect the main jet (ie need to go up)and you will also need to open the box up as mentioned earlier. certainly looks the goods though eags at least 20KM’s faster

Check the seal where the cap screws down onto the body of the carb. If it doesnt seal properly you will have dramas. Also where the boot joins the airbox is another likely place.
yes you can get an air leak at any of the mentioned places.to check: have engine running spray WD40 at the above areas 1 area at a time and listen for a change in the engine revs
