I agree with jak, Force guards are made very accurately and are the best I have seen ;) I just recently put a set on my Gasser, took a bit of Fiddling, but eventually went on. ( I only realised half way thru that my right radiator was a tad bent (thanx Bro  ) Like Jak said back em all off and try and get the threads started then work your way around.

    Good luck! B)

Same thing happened at Dungog at my mate Trents farm. A city slicker moved in for the “serenity” only to realise that all 3 surrounding farms had youngsters who ride their 2 stroke 85’s ( and at a rather quick pace)council and police got involved and turned very messy, The lads had to conform to a no riding before 9am and not after sunset rule (from the council)which they did,the wanker then put a complaint in to say the milking machines were to loud  The issue was brought up at a local council meeting where it was promptly thrown out as the majority of locals are farmers and “ALL”ride bikes and word doesnt take long to travel that the guy was a knob  Last I heard his property was for sale

At kempsey they get a bikey gang in to lean on them or let some of the local indigenous people camp there for an extended time  seems to work B)

Im not saying that an engine water temp will reach 190 degree’s C either, but it is nice to know that it will boil at a higher temp and thus offer far greater confidence when the going gets tough ;) I am a mechanical engineer of 30 years as well and have studied thermal dynamics ;) What I am saying for $35 a litre give it a try if it works great! if not what have you lost?

Ps I like the pretty pictures :P

Read the link, it has an explanation of how it works ;) 30% more efficient ie better than water/glycol at absorbing heat and then dissipating it to the radiator cores/fins.

    B) Liquid Intelligence 115 gives boil-over protection to 190ºC, so it’s thirty percent more thermal efficient than traditional water/glycol based coolants.

While your talking to Mal at sutto’s ask him about the coolant in the metal can he sells, I have been using it and have had no real issues, it’s boiling point is up over 200 deg, mal was the one who put me onto it. You don’t add water just this stuff and 1 tin is perfect amount for my 06 450exc

    Hatto

This is the stuff you probably got Hatto B) Its not Engine Ice its a fully synthetic liquid.

Tyre Goo? do you mean the puncture repair stuff? I use Slime, get it from Repco about $35 for a litre (4 tyres worth)

you are right about the Gassers not holding there value I picked mine up in Feb 08 its a mid 07 model and paid $7000 and it only had 900kms on it as well. I reckon its probably worth about $6000 now. But I wont sell it I will just hang onto it and get a new one when the time is right. B)

Not as good as Mal’s husky but, thats a sweet ride for a smoker, you tried one of them?

    TB

Yes I have tried the Husky 300, Not for me afraid to say front end is Vague and seems to plough, they sit to high only a 5 speed (even my 3 former 360’s had 6 gears) and spares prices are pretty steep. They do go well though, just not the way I like.
