Unit In my opinion the 06 Kato is an awsome bike,I actually prefer it over the 08.One thing you can do to make the bike more rideable is to fit a Rekluse or similar clutch. When they are setup properly they are an amazing bit of engineering. If you get a chance give one a go.

I hate it when you have volunteered to be the BBQ bitch and the BBQ is virtually waiting to become the next chernobyl!

No seriously I agree with what Mick has said, organising a ride is not as easy as it appears and some people dont appreciate the work that goes into it.

What gets under my skin is when you post a cornerman and he doesnt stay there, the amount of Kaos that can create can be a worry.

Nice Story Bruce B) My young fella who is now 17 had similar experiences, starting out with the DR200 and learning how to ride, then having a KX250F as his race bike.Never really got into MX but loves trail riding on his 96 Husky WR250. He is now old enough to legaly go riding in the Bush and I look forward to that day when he and his old man are cruising the single trail B)

yeh Hatto you probably do  (ive now got two spares as well)it is a M10 nut with a step down head ie 13mm across the flats instead of 17mm as there is no room to fit due to the close proximity of the triple clamp surrounds (if you know what I mean  )also cant use a nylock either has to use loctite

Yeah I know Ollie   But you bought two bikes up what was the wash up with the RMX that wouldnt start?

He fitted a new carby (PWK38) the weekend before and it went well although he had a 50 pilot jet which I think is a bit rich maybe it just fouled the plug  Dunno?

the kickstarter on the RMX is a bad design and wears real quick, when you pull the lever out if it is worn,it goes past the 90 degrees and when trying to start in the mud and slop your boot just slips off all the time a real pain in the arse  This lever was less than 12 months old and cost about $260 to replace.

Shane has a bit of a short fuse so it was easier to just lend him the Gasser as my foot was all balloned up.

Hmm it was a case of improvise or dont ride,I decided to improvise ;) I tried to find a nut that would fit, even tried the one off my utes power steering box.

The fuel situation was a bitch probably because the bike was shared and did more laps than the others. Letting someone else ride my bike is not a case of being tight id say its a case of being generous, unselfish and making sure a fellow trail rider has a good time and not wasted travelling 500 km for nought ;)
