At this point, I have read all the Blah Blah at the start of this thread and to be honest, I actually understood all of it. It was in very easy to read english and after running it through spell check, could not fault it.

After doing some simple maths, it would appear that there is not enough beds on offer here. Even if Boulder and Fish sleep together, we are still one short.

After speaking with his Lords Ship this morning it may well be that you are heading into an old stomping ground of mine as well. Charming little shit hole called Mintabi. Well it was when I left there close to 30 years ago.

Any way, I’ve crapped on long enough now so the only question that remains un answered is, am I going to be Krusty’s wing man ?

Ken Oath I am. Can’t wait to get out there and visit all my old lations at Mintabi

A tourist on a bus trip around Invercargill in New Zealand sees a farmer holding a sheep in a ‘unique’ sexual looking position, the tourist asks “are you shearing that sheep” to which the farmer replies “no way she’s mine get your own”.

TB, I’m not interested in spending my holiday dodging the rain either. Having said that, I still want to go some where with the time that I’ve arranged off work.

Looking at your below quote, will we know prior to this weekend where we are actually going to in your plan B. I only ask as I assume we will all have to make alternate plans now. (meet point etc etc etc)

(With that in mind if there is any doubt I am going elsewhere and doing some other tracks I was planning to do later.)

Hmmm, will watch this space with interest. I see a train ride to Perth has been thrown out there. What about a boat ride to Tasmania ?

That’s an interesting theory Gaz , but it won’t count mate ;)

I had Grafton Motorcycles prepare my bike last year and it cost almost $800 , I was happy to pay for piece of mind but didn’t think it would be their fault if the bike didn’t make the whole trip. It’s our responsibility to keep an eye on things along the way and check the bike over at the end of each day. They get a fair pounding over a 10 hour day and I was surprised what actually vibrates loose

Interesting theory indeed however, that’s the way it is for me. I am not a M/C mechanic and that’s why I rely on others to make sure that my machine is up to scratch. If that’s not good enough, well I’m sorry. I have had all the nessesary parts replaced and work done. There is F%^K all else I can or am prepared to do to get the bike any better than what it is. So in sumation if what I have done to date doesn’t fit with your Nazi regime, I have 1 x 2009 DRZ 400E for sale in my eyes ready for the Corner.

Have a good trip and send me a post card.

I do recall being invited on this trip and if you have any doubts about the worthiness of my DR,

    Ok,

EO9D’s front and rear with UHD tubes fittted and balanced today thanks to Scotty at Sutto’s. Paid for my fuel bladder, just waiting for it to arrive. Bought new Pro Rider Gel Grips and managed to fit the left hand side however, the throttle side is proving to be a pain in the arse. I can’t get the origional DRZ shitter off. Spoke with the All Mighty 1 and he has suggested that I cut the bastard off with a razor blade or similar. Tomorrow nights job now. After that, pack the bags and off we go.

    Good One TB,

This sounds the perfect ride for me. Can you put it on again when we get back from the corner please.

    Dejay,

Would have jumped on this if I wasn’t going to be in Melbourne. The old lady is turning 80. Got to do the right thing here.

Just in case you are having a rough day, here is a stress management technique recommended in all the latest psychological journals. The amazing thing is that it really does work and will make you smile.

    1. Picture yourself lying on your belly on a warm rock that hangs out over a crystal clear stream.
    2. Picture yourself with both your hands dangling in the cool running water.
    3. Birds are sweetly singing in the cool mountain air.
    4. No one knows your secret place.
    5. You are in total seclusion from that hectic place called the world.
    6. The soothing sound of DIRT BIKES buzzing all around you.
    7. The water is so clear that you can easily make out the faces of Julia Gillard & Bob Brown, the two people you are holding underwater.

There!! See? It really does work. You’re smiling already.
