P-Dub will be there and is rather keen on getting as much seat time as possible but that will be on a Honda not a Beemer ;) :)

How many other rides have we seen where 10 start & about 3 finish ????

Murph`s Boot Camp I reckon

I was thinking something along the lines of The Murphsberg Rally.
Sounded like quite a ride.Hope Scotty heals quick and gets out there again soon. What grade was this ride  :)

The Husky 450 Te is reduced by $1400 dollars at the mmoment making it roughly $11500 ride away. I just traded my WR 426 for a 310 te and got a really good deal. I went the 310 for the cheaper rego, slightly lighter bike. and awsome low to mid range.

    Husky convertB)

I thought that the cut off for cheap Rego was 300cc Kram ?
Is the Husky really a 310? If so how does it qualify for cheaper rego?
Nice choice BTW,Husky has warranty that other Euro and Jap bikes can’t even come close to.

    Closet Husky fan here too

I can’t believe that they can hold that event and claim they are promoting sustainable dirt bike riding in the Watagans. How hypocritical is that!

I had a short blat on the honda yesterday and it felt nice. Certainly a different power delivery to the KTM but the ergos felt pretty similar I think.

Would you like me to find your closest Hondadealer?

Nice looking ride there P-Dub…. Good to see another crf250 out there. I’ve got an 08 model 250 aswell. All so went from an XR 400 to the 250, Big difference for shore!

    Justo

Good to hear someone else rides the same bike Justo.I had spotted your bike on a ride report and didn’t know whether it was a 250 or 450.
Hopefully we can catch up for a ride soon and compare notes.

It was a great ride – I’m a bit dusty after a big night but I’ll try and put some words together :p

Pete’s machine looked like it just came out of the crate at the start of the day but it looked much better by the end of the day especially since most of the pink had been covered in mud :D Pink bikes rule!

Kitchener had some excellent riding with a good mix of clay and sand, tight and open and even a few hills – one of which got the better of me and my gear lever as Pete showed in the pic. Big thanks to Pete for having just the right nut and bolt to fix it up without much fuss.Always bring your nuts with you

Following Pete was funny, I kept trying to be fast and wasn’t and pete just kept ggod pace but was cruising through.Cant wait till I get used to itB)

    Nice.

I like XRs. Alot. But now that one can’t be bought new these days, I wonder if you could do a write up on the comparison on th XR to the CRF? (One day I might be allowed to buy a new bke! and the CRF might just be the ticket)

No worries Shane.I will need to get the 250 into some different terrain to really give it the test but my initial thoughts on my new bike are “F#%$#en awesome :) Plenty of power[for me] and after getting the suspension set up for my weight before I got it I can honestly say that I have ever felt more comfortable on a bike before B)
Plus it rides like a Honda…..ya gotta love that ;)
