    Woah 150 posts already?!

P-dub I don’t want to take any business away from the sponsors but racers edge do a good deal on DID x rings and sprockets. I paid $200 for an 512(I think) x ring, hardened front and regular rear sprocket delivered.

Thanks for the heads up Trent,I hadn’t decided where I will get em yet so I’ll check em out ;)

    That’s a shame p-nut!

Mick best of luck mate, the more the merrier I reckon!

If anyone is nervous about meeting I’ll be in a silver triton and meeting at the service station just off the freeway at 830. To get there from the freeway take the mandalong road exit and head east and you’ll come to a roundabout. Turn right and you’ll see a caltex straight away.

If not see you at the oval at 9!

p.s I’ve been chipped about using the internet at work so I won’t be checking on here too much tomorrow so if you request my mobile number via PM make sure you send yours too and I’ll just text or call you to give you my number.

P_nut  Maybe that should have been my user name ?
The only thing I’d be nervous about following you in that Triton would be that it’d break down and cause an accident

I remember you referring to your mate Ben that “Has a real job” and cant be on the Internet all day.Enjoy your day at your real job mate
Have a good ride>I think it may be a muddy one :woohoo:

    Ollie

I may or may not have somersaulted the tractor on its last outing resulting in a weld job where the stand attaches to the frame and a new gear selection device.I’m gunna throw the tyre I got off you on the back as well as get a new S12 for the front.Add a new chain and sprocket set and I’ll be good to go :)
Just in time for you to get your helmet cam ready for me to do something spectacular

um sorry, “FS” is the brand, its called a “hector”?????

ive never heard of them but it fits good.
    the tag price was $199.

i reckon “FS” stands for “fooly sik”

bugger the tiles, its not my house:laugh:

Thanks Menace>The reason I was asking was it looks very similar to mine.Mine was one I bought many years ago from some guy that imported a container full of gear.Mine was a brand called Moto-One[Rumour has it that it was named after some English guy that crashes a lot] :P

BTW I think FS stands for Fat Spidy

Here is my 2 bobs worth.I bought a Oregon Scientific ATC2K a while ago and thought it’d be ok considering what I paid for it[Under $200].My first problem was that you dont know where it’s aiming so I got some awesome footage of my front guard at first :S .I mounted it on the jaw bar of my helmet and it was a bit fiddly to turn on/off.The quality of the footage is average at best and it seemed to shake around too much for my liking.Another problem I experience is that the battery seems to lose contact and thus the camera turns itself off>Not good when you think you’ve filmed something good only to find out youve got nothing  Sound quality is shite :(

I noticed that Ogegon scientific now has a ATC5K that has a small screen at the back which would take the guess work out of aiming it.It also has a remote which means you can turn it on/off without having to touch the camera[best feature yet I reckon]

In saying all that I have watched video from the Go-Pro and would have to agree that the quality is heaps better as it has a lot wider field of view and doesn’t seem to shake as much as mine.

As Ollie stated the POV-1 looks like awesome quality video and it looks tough as nails, but you have to carry the unit in your backpack which could be a pain in the arse sometimes.$1000 is a lot of money and it’s money that I dont have.
Here is a review I found on youtube comparing most of the units I just mentioned.
