Happy birthday Murph you crazy legend, have a turkey on me.
PTW
I have tried some on my phone and mud maps was probably the better one I tried, I bought a heap of maps ( at a hefty price ) and they are good maps.
In a car I would say it would be fine as you have some time to stuff about at a corner but on a bike at speed it was shit.
You will need power on your bike for your phone cause it will suck the power in no time at all.
Basically nothing will beat the garmin or a dedicated gps, but if you just want to whip out your phone and check
Where you are the I reckon everytrail is a good app for that sort of thing.Garmin is good

I’m going make an early call and say this could win best build :woohoo:
It’s definitely got my vote.PTW
I don’t know how you guys run with the small screens
Picking the right time to read your gps can be critical and has come close to catching me out a couple of times.Riding along at 100, look down and can’t see purple line, look back up, dust and sunlight flickering through the trees, look back down trying to find purple line, then finally find purple line and realise it looks to be going in a 90 degree fashion just up ahead   F#@& !!!!! Look up   F#@& F#@& F#@& !!!
Throw out all anchors and everything else you have to either stop, turn or just live through the next 10 seconds of your life. Open your eyes and pull the seat out of your arse to realise that not only did you live but you made the corner as well :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: sit back and feel chuffed with yourself cause you……shit……………………..should have turned left back there
And they say adventure riding is boring :laugh:PTW

I read about this when they started the trial, it’s all to do with relieving congestion on the roads as they reckon by having bikes lane filtering congestion can go down by neally 40%.
If only the cars drivers all knew that it was legal as they can get a bit dirty when a bike moves ahead of them in the traffic jam queue.PTW
Eags you champ, thinking of you guys mate.
All the best to you and your awesome family.PTW
