The Piglet is pretty much ready, the only thing to do now is fiddle with the screen and wire the dash up and maybe change the front guard for a CR80 guard.
This weekend i will take it for a little spin, nothing big just a hoon around the streets looking for people that are in a donating mood :)

The Gear sack i got off Badbowie and the panniers i got off Krusty and i think they look awesome, Thanks guys.

i put my tool bag around the tank like a tank bag, it fits pretty good and doesnt seem to get in the way as the frank and beans arent big enough to pose a problem   …………………………………………………… :pinch: :(

A new rim, tyre, and spokes have been fitted, costly ? yes, but worth it as i had already snapped 8 spokes on my wisemans ferry ride and that was only about 400 Klms

I know the Piglet has a big seat but these do look pretty comfy and i reacon after 1500 Ks it would feel a worthy investment.

These guys have sponsored every rider $100 dollars each, i dont know them from a bar of soap but they still put $100 down for me and everone else.
I think that deserves a big two thumbs up, aswell as another plug, thanks guys :) :)

The Piglet has some issues but all should be resolved for the start of the ride, i was replacing the spokes on the rear and realized that the rim is no good and needs throwing out :( now i have to get a new rim but all is good :)
The racks on the back is finished and the bags that i got off Krusty and Badbowie look tops B) thanks guys :)
I welded the racks up myself and the steel weighed about 1kilo which added about 4 horse power :woohoo: but unfortunatley i used about 8 kilo of welds which knocks it back 5 hp :S
I still need to chop the rear guard some more but that is easy and will be attacked shortly.
I have been playing around with welding plastic and i am toying with the idea of putting a screen on the Piglet, after seeing a few screen and dash board setups i am keen to have a crack at one, after all i will need somewhere to mount the switch for the heated grips

some pics will come when i have all bits together and start to put it all back on.

I use the 661 pressure suit and as they say, they are only meant for roost deflection, but i would rather have one on than not.
Has anyone else been hit with that one big rock or that branch sticking of the edge of the trail that would have been very bad if it wasnt for you protective, if your traveling at about 80 or 90 along a fire trail and one of those bloody big bore 4Ts send a good rock back at you, it could be hitting you at 100 plus K’s.
I was jousted off my bike once by the end of a broken branch that hit my armour and then glanced off and picked my up by the collar bone and sent backwards on to the ground, it was one of those times where you wonder if the armour helped or hindered.
