    Hi Mick
I pushed that story to the newsroom after speaking to Corey8. As it is the cops job to catch the low life or recover bikes the story warned locals and gave tips on bike security courtesy of Coffs KTM. They showed locking options and gave the reminder that if you garage your bike with the front wheel removed and left in the house is the biggest deterent to thieves. They may be equipped to cut locks but are screwed if they can’t roll it away.

Top idea, take the front wheel off :) easy and affective, that along with the locks can save some heart ache.
    I like good ideas :cheer:

Do that with your postie Pete your orange shitbox will be right they wont touch that

Seriously I had a XR600 stolen when I lived at Wyee years ago. It was chained to a pole and had two discs brake locks fitted. You could see where they wheeled it out on skate boards
It’s a good idea but if they want it a wheel missing won’t stop them it’s seems they are organised

Now thats just mean :( :( I would like to have a smart and witty come back, but ive got nothing

Pete, The GG like any bike has its peculiarities but most of them are easy to live with or get around. I brought mine because it was a six speed box lower seat height and a linkage rear end. They make a great trail bike and plenty of Bling available for them if you know where to look , you have to become a member of the elite GG owners club before this can be divulged
I reckon spare parts prices are a lot better than KTM and if you have a good dealer you cant go wrong. A lot of parts from other Bikes will also fit ( I currently have a YZ kick starter and a Honda clutch and WR spec Pivot pegs on mine )
I dont buy a bike on resale value it has to be a happy partnership, and in all honesty they are not that bad now anyway, makes for good buying second hand :cheer:
These bikes are becoming increasingly more popular, because everyone who has one raves about it. If the Japs made 2 strokes they would sell a squillion of them

    Ollie

I think im just about sold on the GG mate, the spare parts, the 6 speed box, linkage, all a bonus B) I dont buy with resale value in mind it was the only thing i could find to pick at  the bling factor doesnt bother me as im not a bling man, i would rather have a work horse than a show pony  :P the nambotin is a wild bit of gear, too much bling for me but still a great looking bike.

Yeah mate im on a Kato and i love it but the Gas Gas look pretty good and it seems that evryone who owns one swears by them, the resale value doesnt hold up against the kato but as far as everything else goes they look the goods. they are the only other 2T i would consider.

a tip i was told was to get the wifes clear nail polish and paint the edges of your stickers and this seals the edges stopping it from pealing up.

And if there is one thing i have learnt from this thread. That is 2 stroke owners are very touchy people.

We are not touchy !!!!!! We just weren’t loved as much when we were kids. :(
And what’s this about sore bums? Who sits down when they ride singles?
We 2stroke guys are big boys now, we stand up to wee.

This is what I’m sending up.

First up we have these little fellas, great for carrying those little bits and pieces in your tool bag, as you can see I put my chain bits or spare plug in them ( that’s not my spare plug, just a stunt double ).
They are also tapered at one end making smuggling cocain that little bit more enjoyable ( for some  )
    I will sell these for $1 or 5 for $5. ;)
I have about 75 of these.

Next is for the 2T fans, this little gem is as tough as an old bull but doesn’t leak like one :S
They have measurements on the side and it holds 250 ml and will fit in your tool bag or backpack, do not smuggle cocain with this one. :pinch:
perfect for your 2stroke oil or something else that needs to be contained in something with a lid.
$5 is a bargain and if you buy 2 for the special price of $10 then you get 2 of them. :woohoo:
I have 15 of these and they are the only 15 left so if they don’t sell I will have these back please cause I find them bloody handy and I can’t get any more :)

    Hope they all sell out.
