I can’t ride this one anymore but if you get stuck with trying to get someone for the fuel dump let me know and I will be happy to be the last resort.
I will have my little girl with me but that’s cool cause she can do all the heavy lifting for dad.

We are waiting and waiting and waiting but if they banned 2stroke dirtbikes tomorrow because of emissions it wouldn’t take long and a fuel injected one would hit the shop floors.

I just did my 300 on Friday ( first time for me ) and found it quite easy, I read Menace’s report 10 times ( thanks Menace ) and hooked in.
Brad at my local bike shop said don’t hone the cylinder.
I got the piston and rings, gudgeon pin and clips, little roller bearing, and the gasket kit.
The gasket kit has a heap of o rings and they are for your power valve and exhaust, and you head has 2 o rings instead of a gasket, but the gaskets you get are for your power valve covers and cylinder base.
Another thing you can look at is your starter cause you have to pull it of anyway so might as well clean and grease it.
Hope that helps, it really is easy.

    Thanks mal.
It was all just a bit weird when they were talking about the “racing” part. “because i race im not covered if i crash my bike outside of racing” I tried to tell them about it and that its no more dangerous than riding on the road but they didnt want to hear it.
Its only a couple of races a year and i could lie, but it would be bad if something did happen to me and my wife and daughter got nothing because they found out i had a race licence.
i will check some more out and see what happens, AND IF THEY DONT ASK…….. DONT TELL. B)

Surely Mick can’t be the only rider on this site who is sensible enough to have insurance  come on guys, help me out.
I might not be smart enough to pick the right insurance on my own :silly: but I am smart enough to ask for help so I can get my wife off my back ( and maybe underneath me :woohoo:  :woohoo: ).

I think he was after serious bike questions guys.

    Hi Mr Evil Rudd
Why are they “handle bars” when there is only one bar?

And if I eat with a “fork” how come my bike has “forks” ?

The gaetorade extra mild, doesn’t matter how mess up we are we still light one up.

Looks like a good weekend had by all, I love OBT ride reports, awesome

I read the topend rebuild report by Meanace so I have the confidence to rebuild mine in the next week or two, then I can hopefully join some rides like this.
    Top stuff
