Hate it when life gets in the way of having fun Tfos, and I can see plindz doing his Montgomery Burnes impression about now as he scopes out his chances of a bed.. “Yeeessss, excellent” ..
hope you were camping :silly:

Hi Al
For the Newie punters – how about 8 bells at Edgie Maccas then a ride to Jerries (9.30ish) for any central coasters. From there as it happens – Good feed at Colo Heights servo if that suits otherwise apples for lunch will do
Linz
Hey Squiggle
They’re droppin’ like flies – a couple more and I might score a room in the pub and won’t have to suffer the indignity of tenting it.
Febs is out due to work commitments- leaves a lean but dedicated Newie contingent.
What’s the plan for the friday ride to Lithgow??
Linz
My thoughts exactly – like TB said Saturday & Sunday will pretty well keep us happy. Bloody hell I’ve even bought a tent “Oh the indignity  “
Pm sent regarding the tank
Linz
Hi Al
I am just happy to get to lithgow for the nav ride the easy way if need be, check with Squiggle & crew if they want to take the “scenic” route – maybe we could plan another ride out west another time if need be for al the “secret” stuff
Have you still got the front tank you mentioned previously.
Linz
G’day
Have just been thru a bit of electrical issues with my WR450 albeit this thing is far from standard.
It ended up being the battery – you can run all the tests under the sun but if the battery is faulty it will continue to play up. :pinch:
It should read between 13 – 14 volts at about 4-5000 rpm. If the battery is not fully charged you will never get the correct reading. Fully charge the battery and start from there otherwise get a new one which by the sound of it will probably fix it. Don’t get a lithium one get a standard one.
Hope this helps
Linz
Thanx mate
Will wait and see what the masses want to do- Not really fussed about an “adventure” getting to Lithgow – more interested in the following 2 days.
Is it possible to get thru Growee road/ track though ?? – i have been to as far as I could get till the “farm houses” blocked everything.
I would be keen to see what you have up your sleeve though
Linz
Hey Sneaky,
Get yourself to Woodstock on Sat 30th November – you will get more info than any web site will have :woohoo:
As mentioned – just around the corner. If you want some info happy to help

I can also give you a track to reduce the bitumen in the Bylong section now I think about it.TB
Yes please – 40k’s of secret stuff :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
If its upper bylong thru to lee creek and pops out just north of Growee – done it
Linz
No  I said secret

Far Q 😆 😆 😆
Was worth a shot :pinch:

TB
Hi TB
Know about the bitumen on Bylong (done it a fair bit even b4 they sealed it) – wouldn’t it be great if you could get thru from Growee to Coxs creek Road would cut out a heap of (black) stuff and make it an interesting ride. Even better if you could somehow link up Lee Creek road
Anyhow – like you said Al’s route is easier, just hate the Putty section :pinch:
As long as I’m drinkin’ beer by 4 on the friday it’s all good :woohoo:
