    Hey Scotty

Standard front and rear – micro front and rear. They are not LED’s. Like I said both styles light up (continuos) when the relay is bypassed – plug in the relay no go

    Hi eagle
Done everything Betta Bikes told me to do – still no go. Got me farked. Short of keep spending money on flasher relays till i find one that works (and thats not going to happen) I am absolutely lost.

    Bike electrics – Doh!!!!!!!!!!

No wuckers – The AGV is a good helmet, really happy with it, got a Scala headset fitted to it, had to glue the mounting bracket on, the clamp doesn’t fit.

It is fairly quite with bugger all wind noise (compared to RJays DS Dakar helmet). Don’t notice the visor vibrating (if it still does) anymore. I was a bit pissed off at first after handing over $400 and the “humming at local road speeds. But now not a problem

Know anyone that wants to buy a Touratech Clip on Screen Extender to suit a 800gs??

    G’Day Mate

I have the AGV – great helmet, really light and comfortable. Only problem I found was the visor has only 2 mount points and at a certain speed (about 60k’s) the visor would vibrate and send a hum thru the helmet.
I took the touratech screen extender off the 800gs and that fixed it – seems that turbulence behind the screen extender was effecting it.
See the link from Revzilla on youtube – there is also a good adventure helmet comparison on the same channel

in reply to: What did you do to your bike today? #227529

Replaced the rear tail/brake light after feedback from the Lithgow Nav Ride
Had a bit of a muck around trying to get the blinkers to work – beyond me
Ordered new headlight as the original only has about 6V candle power and worked out how to fit the new LED spotties. :woohoo: :woohoo:
Had a few more beers pondering the next thing to do 😆

    Hi eagle

Shame your sitting this one out ,,,
Will give Yengo a miss on the way down as the 50 odd k’s at the end kill the fun. Just keen to get to the start in one piece. We will probably head to St Albans via Watagans then up Bicentenary road to Wheelbarrow ridge track to Colo then thru to Mount lagoon. Slab it to Clarence then head in thru Zig Zag to State Mine Gully (scopin’ out for that hill) then down to the Commercial for a coldie or 6. :woohoo:

Shame about Mount Irvine – just glad i got to go thru before they decided only “walkers” should enjoy the experience

Hopefully see you on the next one
