What a great weekend
Well worth every kilometer to get up north and back.
Nicks personal loop on Saturday arvo – a ripper
Followed by a few ales, hearty meal & convivial chats round the fire.
Most turned in early due to the long day , the ales , the cold & the early start on Saturday morning for Spuds ride.Saturday came
Up at sparrowfart to make the start at 7 ish.Blinky cold morning
The trails we rode were all in great condition ,seeming endless flowing singles, with short dirt roads joining to the next fab single. Only 3 “difficult hills”. A quick track down a deserted beach, I had a heap of trouble in the dry sand, kato wanted to go lay down on me ..Great lunch spot then retrack our way home. Thanks to Nick, STM, Spud , Rob, Smithy, Smally for a 10/10 weekend. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Great Pics & Vids
Wow we had a grate day..
Gotta luv Nundle
Happy 40th Boze..
Hope you had another great day
Cheers
PollyWhat a ride
Started in the balmy just above freezing temp at Nundle.
Off to the sweet trails and surprisingly warmer higher altitudes
Trail conditions excellent .
Boze had a track inspection in one of the water hazards , lovely save, restricting the damage to one boot full of freezing cold water
More great singles , everyone enjoyed the cracking paceUntil poor old Bollocks decided to get some trailside maintenance.. Poor old CR lost a bolt out of the footpegs, the seat securing bolts and had a flat front tyre. PPM (piss poor maint) Bols
Some time later we had the CR fixed and then back enroute to the Berry patch for lunchDown Parachute, some trail maintenence made the steep hill a dream ride then through the many creek crossings . :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
The uphill from the river saw some quick riding, everyone must have smelt the fine Berry Patch cusine
.
Lunch & refuelling the steads..
Andy gets a call about storms with hail over NundleHere the weather started to take a turn for the worst
The sun dissappeared and showers started to move in.
As we got closer to Nundle via them beaut singles, the sky got darker.
At fridge hill a few riders myself included baulked at the slippery conditions.
Sky got darker again, until then the rain started   :angry:We persisted with the singles for some distance until the conditions got worse.
OK guys lets take the main road back to town..The rain got heavier ,then turned into hail , bloody cold wet & being stung by hail , buger
After what seemed like forever we finally got out of the storm and arrived at Andys farm , what a great relief for cold riders.
A quick loading of bikes & dry clothes a quick celebration beer for Boze then of to town to the pub for more beer .. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
How lucky were we the town was blacked out :silly: :silly:
Unbeknowst to Boze there was a liitle surprise organised by his better half Brenda.
Then party party
Great days riding and apre riding.
Thanks to Snowy & Boony for leading, thanks to Damus for sweeping.

Did the same ride you have planned, on Saturday 19.
The river was about average height about 2 feet in the old money.
Trails were all in dust free condition, tad slippery in places.
Found a few trails that led down from the ridge to the Murray river.
Some with about a 900 meter drop.
Had a great day , only a few to many forbies.Polly
Wolfie , well done, legendary
