Key issue

Could have been the heat, that’s my best guess :silly: :silly: :silly:
A Great ride, Mr S & Jonsa.
I have not ridden Barrington for along while, one of its features are never ending up & down hills .
First up Saturday hill number x out of Frying Pan did not disappoint. I think it brought everyone undone. I remember that someone said “yeah it was easy yesterday” . I guess I got my day wrong..
After the first hill the ride progressed well, one memorable short nearly vertical downhill ( that’s what it is now, after the debrief back at camp ). This brought a few unstuck – yep gravity suxs.
Experienced a flat front tyre, however had many willing helping hands to repair it thanks to Boze for the new HD tube & Smurf for the gas to fill it. Took about 10 minutes to get the gang going again. KATO sure handled better with air in the front.
The rest of the ride was free flowing thru some neat singles a fire trails, the rising temp taking its toll on us not quite so fit chappies.
Arrived back at frying pan to some extremely nice cold beers , a sit in the creek & a bit of lunch.
I have some pics of the after ride creek, will post them when my net connection gets back up to speed.
10/10

Polly
MR S
Please put me down for Saturday 1st.Thanks
PollyI have experienced the same problem with the rear brakes on my orange bike.
The rear brakes will disappear after long down hills , however they will return when they cool down..
Does this indicate that the problem is me using the brakes to much , they get hot cool down & are OK for awhile
OR
Is there air in the brake line that is the root cause of the brake fade ??Polly
Yep I’m with Mal & 20 other riders
Great day In Nundle
