A really good ride, as the pics show some difficult hills but lots of really nice singles.
Murph how did you stop the rain ?  :woohoo: :woohoo:
The wet conditions prior to the ride helped the rise in DOD ( Degree of Difficulty )
The camarade is what makes these days.
Thanks to all for their help today.I had a great day.. ( all I need to do is to trim the banana by about 20KGs ) :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
Only regret for the day – leaving the camera at home and missing a rare photo opportunity of a horizontal murph

Trails DRY , thus a tad dusty. ( NO MUD)
Weather cool morning but warmed up towards midday.A few more pictures of our ride today.
After a big downhill to wake us all up and some other good singles it was time to do a little bit of explorin
Our tour guide Lotsa & his trusty accomplice
found this nice looking bit of untracked bush.:silly: :silly:It is a shame that cameras tend to destroy the true slope perspective:(
Lotsa & Tryhard went down this hill only to find a dead end
Some pics of the retreat
Tryhard:woohoo:LotsaB)
We managed to abort the attempt at pushing in a new trail.
Rode more singles & found some lookouts:)Dude being a tourist:unsure:
View across the wineries to Cessnock.
No this was not really an adventure ride!!About midday we all were pretty much done.
Back to the cars to pack upHere is where GavB gave us an expression session:)
He did some neat jumps with little goadingPSyching Up

The nerdy one
suggested Macromedia Flash.
It would seem that some versions of W7 do not have the flash player
Try this link

Snowy
Sounds like u may be missing some codecs.
If you install Media Player Classic it will probably help.
Download from this site – file is about 5 meg and is Windows 7 compatible

Yep the Hills were alive..
Unseasonal weather gave us a very cool weekend up in the Nundle highlands.
Saturday explore day was a balmy 16.7 degrees at 7.00am Saturday when we commenced to put all of Snowys research into action.:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
The research paid off with us discovering an unused logging trail ( great blast on Sunday) and another trail that was large in fokelore but obstinate to being rediscovered.
These two trails will provide a much larger loop out to & from the Berry Patch. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: 😆 😆 😆 😆Good research Snowy..
Come Saturday Nite, everyone in Tamworth had a huge nite, 5.00am start good idea but wrong day..
A few pics follow to record bits of the Sunday ride.
More of the mob mulling..
Aaron looking like he new what he was on about , Boony looking clownish
Buzz starts to get into trouble on one of the “logs”
Snowy to the rescueWhere did the court jester come from ??
Day saved :silly: :silly:
Boony in action later & looking schmick :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :silly:
After all that the Big Dogs were tired and most returned to the Dungowan cafe for a XXXX
 :laugh:In a few words a 9.5/10 ride. Onya Snowy
A really good day out in the bush.
Got of to a slow start.
I never realised that from Wallsend to Buttaba was over 70 kms.
Diddle can verify that.. 😆
As Jethro said the trails across to the Gap were many and varied. Lots of beaut singles.
Some snoty hills but nothing unridable. (Always an easy way round the tough bits)
It was hard to believe that we covered some 50 odd ks before arriving at the Gap.Managed one photo in this bit of Dude boiling the billy after rounding up stragglers on one of the steeper bits.
If you look closely you can see the steam. Then onto lunch & top up fuel at the Gap
After lunch, down to a crew of seven and off into the Wattagan forest, destination “Amozan”.
Our sweep kept saying there is an easy way round..So we duly arrived at the Amozan, a three part challenging hill rating about 10 out of 5.
I dogged this bit & left the trusty 400 to rest at the bottom of the hill along with the sweep husky.Part 1 difficult
Part 2 more difficult
Part 3 Even more difficult
5 of group actually got up the hill with some pushing , pulling etc etc
Once Part 3 was beaten Dude and I rode some easy trails to meet the rest of the crew just prior to the Bangalow part of the ride. However the time had beaten us
and a decision made to head for home.
The home run was a shortened version of the original trails from Buttaba to the Gap.
Great Ride Murph & thanks to our sweep Dude ..
Murph
Yep I would like to join u guys tommorrow
