Is there a way through on the other side of the Cathie Straights from the beach?? Say from Cathie Footy grounds to the port golf club??

I was talking to a fellow down the shops on Saturday & apparently there is a track from the footy oval coming out just before the golf course. I will ask him again & check it out.
there is also suppose to be a track from the ghost rd coming out near the lake cuts out more tar apparently its a track Hollis use to use
