Its a shame if you have an opinion that differs from others that you get shut down.
i thought the idea of these forums was to be able to have your say & meet new people especially for those of us that are only just getting back into riding after a long brake.
however its seems to not the case.
If these rides take alot to organise all that is needed is to ask people like myself who are more than willing to help out were they can,but seems to be the few who don’t want that because they may loose some glory.
could you please remove me from yous site & I will no longer be encouraging any more people to join

I dont have to remove your membership mate, you if you choose you just need not come back, if you stay and decide to organise a ride I will be there and will help where I can. Also if you think we organise rides for the glory, please explain to me and everyone that organises them what is this glory you speak of?

1/ How does this site not help people getting back into the site?

2/ And please explain who is stopping anybody from organising rides?

3/ And what is the glory that we get from organising a ride, except for spending time with like minded people?

1. each time I have entered into a discussion it has just about been killed or the thread dies
2. never said no one can not organise a ride.
3. the glory I speak of is the massive ego boost you all get after organising a ride. example Hillend ride 5 pages of pat on the backs if you enjoy riding you should’nt expect anymore then the enjoyment get get out having the ride. not 5 pages telling how wonderful you are

If every one was to talk to a friend about it then the ride will be full before it even hits the ride forum, then you get attitudes like “they are local, they live there , they can ride any time”…..As I have said before if it was not for the locals where would our visitors ride , other than around in circles missing the good tracks.

There is nothing wrong with more riders in the group, you just may need to split at some sections and this would suit some riders anyway, as there is always the easy way around and the hard way.
