LET`S GO TODAY   :laugh:Big Thanx to Jeffro, I have a loan of his MoTow bike carrier. I was looking at buying one but not sure of the concept,, “Come check out mine and if you like it take it with you and store it while I`m Overseas” said the Big Fella
Well the pickup happened last night and well, the 690 fits fine on the back of the Cruiser,,,
With a couple of plugs for some OBT supporters thrown inEag’s if I haddn’t actually seen you ride that bike, looking at that pic I would think it’s a new bike off the show room floor. Do you spend 2 hours cleaning for every hour on the bike???
I don’t think I have washed my WR since Mick’s Wauchope ride, and the Beemers not in much better shape….might have to clean it this weekend
FF
Um glad you wrote that … cause I thought the exact same thing … I would be embarrassed to pull up beside that I thought the one thing i would be able to get right was cleaning the bike … but looking at your bike apparenlty not! Nice work on keeping it looking that noice! I will have to pick my act up

Old girl are you going to Kowen Forest this weekend?Hey trailraider thanks so much for the offer …. I have ended up having to pull out at the last minute
Have a great weekend, hopefully its not to wet!
Far out … your multiple choice options suck! Fine I’ll be a heifer
So next girls ride … should we post it as a Heifers ride? 😆
awww come on …. really do i have to be a heifer?!??!?!???!
No can do this Friday, have fun OG cant to hear how it went.
Nice work Murph taking time out for the newbies!
Mmmm watching this space …. I am keen to see some of Murphs tracks (with the view being from the B line  )
That great Wolfie, 101kg … bet there will be a party when you crack the double digits – a good milestone
My pants never actually burnt against the pipe until i bent the pipe in yesterday
Pretty sure if i had pipe guard on it, it would have smashed anyway so glad i hadnt spent the $$ on that yet.
The KTM (Mr Dirty
) is my first dirtbike and i LOVE it :woohoo: Took a few hours in the seat to really get a feel for it but now I am starting to feel right at home on it. I am sure it wont be long before you feel more comfy with Antonio 😆 Just make sure you are having FUN :woohoo:
Well this is what I did to my pipe yesterday
While I have gotten my pants burnt on it before, they have never melted onto it until yesterday as you can see.
My poor bike needs some TLC!
Thanks for the feed back.
I am definitely a fan of the single stuff over the open stuff anyday so I might hold off on the steering damper for the moment…… looks like i just fast tracked to bling :woohoo: (As soon as i stop dropping my bike so much i will get some  ) and if i ever end up on one of your rides Murph there be a pre-ride bling removal so it doesnt all get destroyed :cheer:
EAGLE`02 wrote:Here it is, the recipe for a winter dip,,,,
Now TB has to set up the thread we talked about at the D`s BBQ on Sat night:PContents-
1x Large Crispy Damper from Bakers Delight (or bake ya own),
1x Bread stick, broken into bite sized bits
1x Red Capsicum (diced)
6x slices Leg Ham (diced)
1x tub Sour Cream
1x block Philly Cream Cheese
1x tub Philly spreadable Cream Cheese
1x packet French Onion Soup MixInstructions- Place Cheeses, Sour Cream & Soup Mix in saucepan, stir continuously over LOW HEAT till mixed together
Add Ham & Capsicum, stir thru till all is heated thoroughlyCut the top out of the Damper (large hole) and remove enough bread inside to make a large pocket, place the hot Dip into the Damper Pocket
Place the Damper with dip inside on a large plate, surrounded by bite sized buts of the bread you removed earlier, also the Bread Stick can be broken up to give more bread pieces.
NOW SCOOP THE HOT YUMMY DIP OUT WITH THE BREAD BITS & ENJOYOk just went to do a search on steering dampers … not thinking just typed in Damper and found this
YUMMO!
Ok, just went back and checked this thread to see if there was anything i have missed. So far the only thing on here i haven’t put on is the brake snake … is the sole purpose of this to stop grass etc wedging between the brake lever and bike? They look like they might break easily …
I ended up going with the fan after overheating my bike a few times in the singles and notice it running alot of the time so at least i feel like that was money well invested.
I am thinking next a steering damper …. at first armed with all my newbie knowledge (NIL, nothing, squat!) I thought this was really just for racing but since talking to a few people it sounds like they do a great job in increasing overall stability. (they seem a bit $$$$ so would want to a get a noticable improvement)
Well thats all I have left on the practical list …next is bling 😆 😆 😆
Great vid! Felt stangly at home watching that … looks like everyone on your rides fall off nearly as much as I do  :woohoo:
Well i dont know about all the tech stuff …. but my bike was a bit to tall for me but after I did the sag and got a lowered seat it was spot on … so maybe you have a few options before the lowering link
You and Antonio make a fine looking pair
Looks like a heaps better size for you than your last bike … it is taller yes?
How did the ride go?
