I think your right Kylie, I think I do hang on too tight, so I will need to concentrate on that when I’m out next – Thanks!
The grip heaters would have been sooo great on the Caves ride & I am also not sure how often I would normally use them. Champo has just put new grips on my bike yesterday so I might wait a bit before making a decision…..
Champo & I might be keen for a ride saturday arvo or sunday morn but aren’t super sure what we are up to at the moment. Will let you know a bit closer to the time.
Have fun fixing your bike!
p.s we have just spent most of the afternoon in cooks hill on our pushies!!!
So, How is everyone finding their new Heated Hand Grips?????
I orginally thought that the electrics on the TTR-230 won’t cope with the extra load but I am starting to think that some of my issues with my hands getting pins & needles all the time when riding that a bit of heat now & then might help stop some of the pain…..
How did the guys & girls at Nundle find them?

Well done on putting these tips together.
I have changed the tyres on my bike once before. It took me 2 hours for each tyre & I had to put a day between as I did it after work & it was time for bed after just 1 tyre.
I am very lucky & grateful that I have my own mechanic on hand just for these types of things
One of the girls at work took her kids up to Gloucestor & Barrington on the weekend just gone & apparently there was about 20cm of snow!!!!
Her kids were making snowmen & big boulders that got so big that they couldn’t move them!!!
What a bummer that it didn’t snow the week before:(
I hope everyone is prepared for the super cold at Nundle on the weekend…..
Great ride report & pics Champo!
There is something truly wonderful about packing a bag & setting off without a plan for a few days!!! It’s a shame we had to be back for our nephews christening tomorrow morning otherwise we would still be out & about!!
I do love motorbikes!!!

So now I have no more excuses as now i have access to a fast working computer I can post more often!

It was another great ride with the OBT crew. Thank you to everyone for a great ride despite the somewhat ‘damp’ conditions. All the photos and footage prove that no matter what the conditions Old Bulls know how to make the best of any situation!
Thank you to TB & Crash for leading the ride, to TB for organising, to all of the guys who were sweeps (esp. Boulder!) and to KylieD, DanD, Eagle, & Champo who were my own little super support crew (these guys were always on hand for that little extra help, watchful eye or encouragement – I guess just being the good friends that they are!).
Also Thank you needs to go out TB & Salina for having us stay (again) on Friday night and to Moto for his excellent transport service (I do believe the bike washing fairies have been – although they weren’t as good as DanD’s magic corner!)
Thank You to Chop for being an excellent support person (I particularly liked your arrival timing on Saturday afternoon at the pub – just when I was really wanting a shower and realised I had no dry clothes – perfect timing!)
A big Thank you to Sutto’s (for my voucher – I will be shopping soon – I already have my list ready!!!), and Scott & Louise from Battye’s Bikes – you guys are awesome to ride up to us in the weather – true biking enthusiasts!!!.
It was great to be able to put some faces to the names and actually get to know some of the people that make OBT, especially finally Menace – you are such a big contributor to OBT and it was good to meet you in person!.
I had a great weekend and am looking forward to doing it all again!
Also thank you to Champo for everything that you do for me, particularly in the bike maintenance area – I really do appreciate it!
One last thing – Happy Birthday Crash for yesterday, hope you enjoyed your day!!!
