I am super stoked that Champo thought of having my dvd signed!!!! a super cool second to actually meeting him!!!
I would have really liked to meet Charley too (& to get out of work for a while or a day:ohmy: ) it will have to next time….

This was one of those rides where everyone who was there had a smile non stopB) (and I think anyone who reads the excellent ride report will have one too!B) )

    Highlights for me

The excellent hosts / ride leader & organiser – The Ds make an awesome team B)

Completing another 300km ride with no bruises & damage to my bike

Being able to chat to Champo while riding (Thank You Champo for the riding tips – hugely appreciated!!!)

The fantastic company of everyone & the stories & laughs shared

The yummy home baked trail snacks

The pre ride sleepover (especially Mrs Eagles damper dip!)

Preparing for this ride was really different for us as it didn’t invlove loading the bikes, just riding them out of the shed

The ‘care package’ dinner from the Ds on our way home (in the dark!)

Surviving work today despite being very tired & slightly sore (i think i am getting old:dry:)

Everyone on this ride had the OBT spirit running all weekend – made for an excellent weekend

I am looking forward to doing all again soon on the Caves to Caves ride

A special Thank you to Kylie & Dan for absolutely everything that you have done for us B)

    Hey there Eagle!
If you can, we have a favour to ask:dry: If you by chance have any spare chairs that you could bring tonight that would be fab?!?
Champo & I are going to ride over tonight and camp out at the D’s so chair carrying is going to be a bit tuff…
Champo is out in the shed right now fitting my bike with some less aggressive dirt tyres so will all be sweet for tomorrow!!
    Thanks heaps Eagle
    Will see you tonight!B)

I have been told this morning by Champo (who is at Orange too!) that it’s official, Moto can’t turn left  and that his new nickname should be “Zoolander” :P

It sounds like there should be some stories after Hogs Breath tonight too

by my calculations (which could be a bit sketchy:unsure: ) Champo & Moto should be arriving soon or maybe already be there?

(p.s if your computer is running really slow i recommend “defragmenting it”. my computer was so slow i was ready to toss it out the window but it is running really well now:) )

enjoy the next 4 days of bikes boys ;)

We had been told about the realy old cemetery at St Albans but today was the first time we went there. It was really interesting to see some true aussie history. Some of the graves there we from as early as 1838. It’s really good that it has been conserved too.

This ladies grave now has a huge tree growing in the middle of it
    P4130043.jpg

Can you see the headstones in the trees?

This is the really cool pub at St Albans that was built in 1836. I think KylieD is planning on taking us here for lunch on the ride on 3rd May!

How cool does The Common at St albans look in the drizzling rain!!!

The Wishing Well road in the wet at the Watagans. This place changes in the wet, very pretty but very slippery!
    P4130051.jpg

By the time we got home we had no brake pads left!
