I have checked our calandar for May tonight & we will be both riding for pretty much every weekend in May as well as a few times in april too so i should have plenty of practice by the time this ride comes around!

I have the Pod MX braces as Champo has already said earlier. i have had a couple of scary crashes with them on and they have seriously saved my knees and legs. worth every cent and would highly recommend them (altough i have not tried any other brands to compare). i won’t go riding without them.

We have been trying to do this ride again for ages. We have done a very similar ride on the NX a little while back but I am keen to ride the TTR myself. I think Champo is keen to take the NX.

Either day will suit us, so we will go with the group on this.

This sounds like a great ride but I am concerned that I would be too slow and hold the group up. I am trying to go riding more to improve but I would hate to be continuely holding the group up. i don’t want to frustrate other riders.

What a great day of riding that was had by all!!!
I am super stoked that I actually rode my bike over 300kms in 1 day on 1 ride. This is officially the longest ride I have done as the actual rider not as a pillion

For me to have succeeded in this huge personal milestone, I have to Thank a few Old Bulls out there.

Firstly, Thank you TB for everything, for your exceptionally well planned ride, for you amazing passion & commitment, for your continual smiles all day and for encouraging me to go on this ride.

An absolutely huge Thank you to Boulder and to Yakka, our fantastic sweeps. You both literally “ate my dirt” for most of the day. I am really happy that you didn’t need to help me up from any falls, just the gps wiggling out of its cradle! :cheer:

Thank you to Eagle & Ashleigh, for being our support crew too. Just having you there if we needed you was a wonderful luxury I really enjoyed. It’s great to see you guys had a great day too even though we didn’t get to see you too often. :dry: :cheer:

And lastly a huge Thank you to all the Old Bull guys and girl that rode yesterday for making it a fantastic day. The company was great and continuous smiles and laughs all day are testament that everyone was enjoying the day.

As I am working on gaining more confidence the best way I know how and that is to ride more, Champo & I are planning to go riding next weekend at Barleigh Ranch, Raymond Terrace on Sunday as the track is open as a riding park. Anyone who wants to join us, just let us know and we can meet up

I have to agree with all the other posts about this ride! I had a great day of riding too! It was a great bunch of people covering tracks that suited everyone (and even some alternate tracks for those feeling a little challenged in spots!)

A big thanks to DanD & Champo for leading through their local areas and a big thanks to Eagle, Old Al, DanD & Champo for sweeping. A big thanks to KylieD for increasing the girl power of the ride – I really enjoyed your company KylieD!!!! (although I am not sure about your avatar :unsure: )

It has occurred to me that its is valentines day tomorrow so it might not fit in with everyone’s “romantic’ plans?!?!?

I love your enthusisiam! It brings a smile to my face every time!
I am keen for a girls weekend if Champo decides to ride but as he has gone to bed, I will have to check with him in the morning.

Champo does wash my for me sometimes & I wash his bike for him sometimes but seeing as he has been doing more riding lately then I got the icecream
