I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for making this a really great weekend!!!!!!!!

I wasn’t even riding and I couldn’t stop smiling every time I saw the bikes arriving and leaving again. I really enjoyed being part of the support crew (although there was quite a few times that I really wished I had my bike with me too!)

Thank you Moto for driving Eagle, Champo & me there & back. Also Thank you for the adventures in the support car on Day 1

Thank You Salina & TB for having us stay at your house and for a great day in the support car on Day 2

Thank You Lochie for lending Champo & I your bed again

Thank You to all the riders (too many names for me to list) for the great company and making the weekend what it was (I can’t wait to join on the trails sometime in the future!!)

And lastly a very deserving and well earned Thank You to TB. The organisation involved for this ride would have been a huge task and I am sure that all who went will agree that we are greatly appreciative of your very hard work – THANK YOU TB!!!!

Finally, Thank you everyone for a great site, great people and great riding

    :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

    Welcome aboard Ms Tiny!!!
Its great to have another girl!!!
Tiny mentioned that you guys were looking for a bike when we rode with him a couple of weeks ago – Well Done on a nice purchase!!!

Can’t wait go to riding with you when you’ve got your licence. A little tip – practice the cone turning stuff before hand, it helps to ease the nerves on the test day!

See you soon on the trails!!!:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I think this is a great idea! It would be great to have family thing for everyone.

The only thing is I’m going to be torn between drinking lots of wine with the girls on the wine tour :cheer: Or riding with you lot on the dirt, which I do enjoy greatly?!?! :cheer: For a girl, thats a fairly big decision… I don’t know what I will do…..

Seriously, I think this great idea and if you bringing your kids to ride then the girls would probably be happy to hang out at the tracks anyway.

I hope this happens sometime in the future. Champo & I have been trying to get to a riding place like Louee for ages now.

Thanks heaps to TB, Tiny & of course Champo for a great ride!!!:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I learnt heaps, especially about rocks(!)& river crossings. It was a really good ride, even with my little fall early in the day. Maybe I should think about elbow guards given how my bruised arm is felling today!

Also a huge thank you to TB & Salina for dinner, fun & sleeps (& Champo is right – I’m not sure I can live up to the noodles, they were very, very good!!!) :cheer:

I can’t wait to do it all again!!!!:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Congrats TB on the NX!!! They are a really good bike. I have only ridden ours a couple of times & really enjoyed the ride. They are really comfy for a passenger too, just make sure the sitcover has some grip otherwise Salina will slide all over the place!
Looks like Champo & I are going to have some buddies to go touring with!!

I’m hopeless. As always I couldn’t help myself and blabbed all my evil plans to DanD. I had a bit more of a look around at the prices of the 2004 KLR650’s and realised that this was a pretty good buy at $5,500 so we rang the guy and he has accepted $5,500. We’ll pick it up tomorrow. Done and dusted.

You guys amaze me at how quick you can do things!!!! Looks like there will be some touring happening in the very near future – what a christmas present!!! Well Done!!

    Hey KylieD,
I like the look of the bike you are looking! I hope you get it! If you do I would be keen for a ride. I took the NX out again today but didn’t get very far as the wind gusts were a bit scary!
Have fun keeping DanD off the forum!!!!

Yeah he’s a bit worried because I asked him to stay off until at least tomorrow and he’s got the idea that I am either being very contraversal (his words) or am making him look bad but he doesn’t need to worry because I am not gonna tell anyone that apron story. You know the one I mean. I mean could you imagine?

The apron story??? I can’t remember that one just at the moment??? But you had better not tell me here I wouldn’t want to upset him!

Now now people you have to stop fighting over me!!! And what’s with the ugly stuff?!??!

Just chatted to Champo and we are super keen too. A good time for us would be Boxing Day weekend or the weekend after the New Year. But anytime for a ride is always great.

Good work Kylie, you go pretty good on the TTR. If you and Dan head out to Sugarloaf and don’t mind showing a noob around let me know :)

You don’t have to tell em the colour of your undies, Gili saw them when we were helping you on the downhill and told me. I know, he’s such a perve.

We were actually thinking about heading out on Christmas Day because there would be less bikes out but the kids jacked up about it for some reason (?). Thankfully we are off over Christmas and New Year so we’ve got lots of riding time. We’ll try for something then and let you know.

P.S. I’m surprised that anyone actually saw my undies because I never wear any when I ride…

Nice advice Kylie – might have to give this a go next time & we can compare comfort notes….

Hey Tracy, well said, I sure thought you pedalled pretty good up at the watagans, I know a couple of girls that ride, so maybe we can hook you all up for a ride someday, maybe we can reverse the usual, have the girls out riding and the boys staying at home..

    Cheers
    Chris.

Yeah that sounds great but I actually prefer to bring the boys along too as they can lift the bike of me when i need it!!
Get the girls that are keen to contact me & we can arrange a ride soon!!!
    Thanks heaps!!!

    Any Girls wanting to ride
I am coming to the Watagans tomorrow for lunch with the rest of the crew. However I am thinking of going on a ride before lunch to checkout the lookouts (via the gravel roads, so very cruisy!) while the boys do their thing. If there is any girls who want to join me it would be great!
