When you’re over 45 (like me), overweight (like me), unfit (like me) ….. I really don’t think riding Chad Reed’s bike would help in a 20 minute session on a MX track!
I’ll print out a few extra and bring them.
Why do I end up with 16! … my name’s not even Toes!!!
Char grilled chicken breast and salad.
And a whole bottle of white wine …. READY TO RACE!!
I’m still in for Friday, and I’ll be there Sunday too
… as long as the weather hangs in there (fingers crossed firmly)
Oh sh*t! Didn’t think of that … what if the highway’s still closed on Friday!! NOOOOOOOOOOO
What’s the dirt road like? i.e is it treacherous??
If Friday goes well, and the weather plays nice; Coffs MCC has got a full day Rec day organised for Sunday!! :woohoo:
From the website:
NEXT EVENT:
A MX and Dirt Track Rec Day is trying to be organised for Sunday the 3rd of March. This is to accommodate for all peoples without a National Licence that cannot race at Grafton. Riding starts from 10am. Finshing at 4pm. $20 Members $30 non members. Please bring correct monies and your own forms.I’m keen!
Supposed to be in Sydney this week for work, but that might not happen (with a bit of luck).
The road is closed already I think, the flood walls are due fail tonight apparently …. staying tuned.
Razz
I know! Too hot to ride, Too dusty to ride, Too wet to ride …. maybe I should have bought a Jet Ski!!
Nah! bikes are fun! I hope next Friday is happening??
Love that sound
Yeah Ollie, it was fantastic … The creeks were flowing (quite high actually), the loam was wet, had some grippy bits, slippery bits, boggy bits … Everything except dust
There was one red clay hill climb, a heavily rutted Biatch that sent me flying off into the bush right at the end of the day! Spent the next 15 minutes in a desperate struggle to stop my bike sliding down the side of the hill into the gully below! Exhausted, but no tears
I’ve gone a combination of the hair dryer, and newspaper … only coz I dont have a cat. Didn’t think of oiling them after though, so good tip there!
Not Maria SF Ollie, went down to Rollands Plains with the guys down there, awesome fun!!

Damn! Only just noticed the offer of a shared ride from Toes!
If you have room, that’d be great … no prob’s if not though, I can load up the ute and see you there.

Count me in to please! Sounds like a blast …
Let me know if there’s anything for the BBQ to bring along and chip in …. Oh and I’ll need directions, not to Coffs (I think I can find it) but to the track.
Excellent video … I wanna be there next year!, Maybe even racing (we’ll see)
