I can’t believe you’ve had that bike sitting around for so long without taking it for a ride  , Menai is only half an hour from Redfern, you should have gone and gotten it dirty 👿

 :cheer:  😆 and that’s just the vespa :pinch: :P :silly:

I was waiting for a comment on the Vespa … I omitted that from my previous “My Garage” thread :)

THE VESPA ROCKS! … well it did in Sydney anyway, not sure how it will go down in Kempsey  Ah well, like I care, I’ll be “that guy” on the Vespa at Woolies Kempsey

You’ll only that be ‘that guy’ in Kempsey once. After your first trip to Woolworths I’m fairly sure you’ll come back and find someone has kicked the shit out of it

Which brings me neatly to my second point, I don’t think Kempsey is upmarket enough for a Woolies   :P

Like I can talk, I get farrkwits riding past my house every time it rains doing burnouts up the hill

Hmmm, not sure you’ll be running for Mayor of Kempsey anytime soon 😆

And, we’re upmarket enough to be getting an Aldi around Christmas 😆 😆 (apparently, they’ve been saying that for two years).

Not sure “Aldi” and “Woolies” actually go in the same sentence and “upmarket”?? The black woolies bag will look cool on the bag hook of the Vespa (or is that “look Gay”?)!

Hey Razzle, send Kram a PM, organise a quick blat around the trails at the back of my Parents place off Cresent head Rd straight into maria state forest. (park at the train line overpass at scribbly Gum where we have a little closed Enduro Loop) I reckon a couple of the Tracks may be a bit covered over with Lantana and need clearing. It will take your mind off the unpacking for an arvo ;) all therapy of course

Thanks Ollie, but no rest for the wicked today … it’s weirdly hot and windy here so I’m trying to get all the stuff (boxes etc) out of the middle of my yard and packed away etc. Luckily I’ve got a big old shed here too so lots of stuff is just going in there and covered till later.

I’ll be doing that ride behind your parents place real soon though … one of many rides, soon.

    That’s awesome STM. :woohoo:

    Nice editing.

I was chatting to a mate the other day about doing the same sort of thing with a few cameras.

You’re great at the editing STM … I like the idea of a multiple camera ride one day, then a single edit to put it all together maybe??

    +1

I would have taken the plate off and done some urban enduro by now

Didn’t you get a VERY expensive fine for doing that in Kempsey

Errr…yes, but that was in the car, and it was because of a lack of rego, not lack of a plate ;)

Damn, I thought it was flying around Kempsey on an un-reg’d bike! Would have been a much better story :)

Yeah, happy for any recommendations for builders, tradies etc … basically my first job is an under house garage reno. New door cut into the side wall, main wooden doors need some attention and new locks from the inside etc (secure). Will probably line the whole space, needs lighting and more power, and new slab.

So much to do! Anyway, might as well start with the garage

Thanks everyone, yep looking forward to some riding real soon. Got some more back and forward to do this month for work including some OS late next week but at least the worst (moving) is over.

Gotta find myself a good builder up this way too, the garage needs some work to be a good little workshop, and it does need to be much more secure before I feel completely comfortable with expensive bikes and tools etc in there full time.

Sooooo looking forward to it. :woohoo:

Hey Nato: when are you in lovely Kempsey again? I’ll take you up on that offer for a Stewarts Point (did I spell that right) ride!

Packing it (and the rest of the house) up to move to Kempsey … two more sleeps (feels weird leaving my Sydney house, met my new tenants yesterday, two Gay guys and their very quiet little Lesbian friend + cat …. they seem nice … as long as they pay the rent!)

I hate moving, sucks MORE than any job could possibly suck! I’m exhausted AND I’ve got cardboard dermatitis!!

    IMG_0293.jpg

Anyone know how to get these off?:

    IMG_0296.jpg

Are they just double-sided tape? I hate them, remind me of the ones that were in my pushie spokes, with training wheels!

Be very careful which one you choose Pete!

BTW: I vote for “Elvira” as in Mistress of the Night … she was hot! In a fantasy kind of way
