OK, so I’m thinking the freeride won’t be worth sh&t till most of us are dead and gone …. long live the 2T! The noise, the smell, and (did I mention) the noise :)

However, since I’ve got a shiny new iMac and I’ll be working from home as of Jan I am revisiting the idea.

+ 1 for just using iMovie. AND getting the guy following you to wear the cam to get your crashes on film :)

I’ll be “working from home” [Kempsey] on my shiny new iMac starting Sept 1 … can’t friggin wait! :woohoo: Country life, new Husaberg, good shed/workshop …… ahhh the bliss.

If I were to buy another 2 banger it would be a tough call between this and an Ossa.

[Slightly] wishing I waited before buying the Berg … ahh well, there’s always the 2014 models! :)

Ossa only make a trials bike at the moment don’t they? … A fantastic looking trials bike that is! Never tried trials (on purpose) but would love to.

Nice ride, especially once you get all the goodies on it!

Glad I’m not the only one that orders all the bling-stuff before the bike is even in the garage too!! :)

No worries RAZ, I reckon the new 2012 GG are very Good. The Berg/KTM also very good only thing that does concern me with these two is the starter motor problems oh and the PDS

Hope to catch up for a ride with ya one day (im originally from Kempsey)

    Ollie

Then get yourself BACK to Kempsey! :) It’s a good place (mostly).

    What’s “PDS”?

Re Starter Motor, the guy at the shop told me its an ‘electric re-start’, not an electric starter … “always kick it cold” was the advice.

I think the advice you received is pretty spot on re the fue/oil l ratio’s ;)

My GG has the JD Kit in it as well the only difference is the taper of the needles. I think with a bit of research you should be able to find a better / cheaper alternative ( I think a Suzuki Rm needle was the go )

Yeah, Moto already gave me the run-down on the Needles and Jetting .. too late, I’d already bought the JD Kit, never mind, live and learn, wasn’t too expensive anyway.

BTW: You have no idea how VERY close I was to buying the GG instead of the Berg, love them :)

    Thanks

Steer clear of fuel from Shell, it has additives that are designed for injected engines and has been known to cause monor fowling and carbon buildup issues when used in a dirtbike. BP and Caltex are the best bets.

BP and Caltex it is then! Thanks for the good advice

Warning not use United 100 octane. It used 10% ethanol to get the octane up. It states this clearly on their website but I found out the hard way. It fouled my carb and I had to remove it and clean it there times in one month. I finally got it all cleaned up but it runs through your bike like paint stripper!

    Good advice, thanks
