    Thanks STM

They are gay, you’ll be adventure riding next! Even worse you might try and trade your bike for a 250 Rhonda!

When pasting from Photobucket click on the link that says ‘IMG code’ and it will post the pic directly into the forum without the hyperllink :)

Hey thanks for that … exactly how it was supposed to look in the first place!

As I said, “still learning”. Appreciate the tips.

That’s very cool … reminds me of my cousins garage in Bendigo when I was a kid, pretty sure he had one of these and a Montesa.

You should get yourself along to this ride

Several mates from Albury (original home town) going on there old XR’s, CR’s and RM’s that are beautifully restored.

    Good subject ..

I’m in the same boat next week when my shiny new two-stroker arrives. I was trying to remember what “running it in” actually meant. From memory it was a pretty normal ride, without high rev’s, anything from 1 to 5 hours .

Then, most importantly was a first service, change of oil, tighten and check all screws nuts n bolts, chain tension etc.

That was it as far as run-in … then it’s out for a full-on ride from there! Flat out if you want!!

Hey Razzle, now you’ve seen the shenanigans that Old Bulls have to offer not to mention some of the awesome trails, I myself was in Bago a couple of weeks ago with a few of the best an brightest, not to mention quickest on the camera’s :P
I’m just up the road from you mate when i get the XR back together i’ll point you in the direction of some tracks etc and probably spend the rest of the time chewing your dust by the sound of it :S .
But get amongst it mate plenty of it :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey thanks BW and to everyone for being so welcoming

I must admit that I was questioning my decision to buy the bike (after the fact) and thinking “what the hell am I doing, I’m nearly 46 years old, don’t know a single person that rides anymore, and I’m dropping a ****load of cash on a new bike and all the gear!” ….. Anyway, not questioning anymore, now looking forward to having some great fun and getting back into pretty much the only thing I ever truly enjoyed; owning a bike, and riding with mates.

Must say I do feel a bit odd-man-out though with the Husaberg … not even a section for Husaberg in the main forum! Am I supposed to pretend it’s Orange?? Go buy an XR as well?? :)

    Thanks for fixing that Mick.

Remember what I said about waiting to get some fitness back … forget it! Throw me in at the deep end! 100km loop, bring it on [he says with visions of screaming pumped forearms]!

Excited, excited, BLOODY excited!! August can’t come quick enough right now.

Let me run it in first, wash it a couple of times, take some nice photo’s of it …. get a little bit of fitness back (it’s been a while) ….. and then you’re on Mick! Love to have some help in putting some scratches in that nice new blue Husaberg plastic :)

You’ll love this then Razzzle. Filmed in your new backyard and edited on a brand new quad core iMac B)
