No matter how much people bag “the orange” … jeez they do it well! :woohoo:
Just watching the vid makes me want to upgrade already, and I’m too injured to even ride the thing yet!! :pinch:
Old Girl where you singing at one stage there? I know there where portions of talking to yourself, swearing etc, but I’m sure there was singing too
twobanger wrote:A new 3 banger…….. :ohmy:Is that possible?? (i’m no mechanic, by any stretch of the imagination) … how awesome would that be! :woohoo: No arguments if there was “middle ground” !
Wolfie, that’s shit news to hear, but it really sounds like you’re going to be one of those “cases” where you defy the doc’s!
I don’t know if you’re a believer of natural therapies, vitamin therapies etc (I am); but at the least get yourself a good muti-vitamin, some joint restore formula with Glucosamine + Chondroitin + MSM, and some soluble Calcium with Vitamin D3. Take them religiously whilst thinking positive and taking it easy.
I reckon you’re going to be OK
INTERESTING!!
The engine sure does scream! :woohoo: and you’re right, the “shifts” don’t sound like they’re done by a traditional gear-shift lever …. dunno?? But sh*t it hauls!!
I’ll be checking on the 14th/15th! It’s got me intrigued

Time will tell……….GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR insurance companies
As bad as utility companies    :angry:They are talking a 15% drop, taking into consideration the 10% jump recently, in reality we are really only looking at a 5% drop.
5% off $300 is a whopping $15. Ho hum…………. big deal.
Yeah, I’m not holding my breath for it either …. I bet there’s still no Recreational Rego on the cards for NSW either yet!
micknmeld wrote:Kinda good news I suppose. :pinch:Looking forward to catching up for a few beers with you soon mate.
It’s awesome news in my books!
I did NOT want to be chopped open for an operation! A mis-spent youth full of all sorts of risky pursuits and I managed to never break a bone, let alone surgery!, I REALLY did not want to ruin that record (well, the surgery bit anyway … scares the sh*t out of me) :side: :S
Yep, beer, and riding, on the horizon, happy days, happy face.
Been to the Orthopaedic specialist …. I don’t need surgery!
Just “more time” and “try not to use it at all, keep it completely immobile”
He said it is a really bad break, in a bad position, but it should heal fine. Including the separated AC and tendon damage. He said that my ribs still look if they have a couple of weeks to be properly healed as well, even though they don’t hurt at all any more. Gotta go back at the end of June for another x-ray and consult.
Hopefully looking good for Mt Seaview :woohoo: :woohoo:
Phew! Still 8 more weeks or so, but at least I don’t need to be chopped open :S
Don’t know if anyone’s posted this before? …. But it’s awesome!

Oh, that sux Wolfie. I feel your disappointment
I’m braced for pretty much the same “8 to 12 weeks” scenario (hopefully not more than that!) on Monday too. Looks like you and me at the birthday bash as injured drinking buddies … hey, we can even have beer for breakfast seeing as we’re not riding!
Ah well, keep smiling
and look forward to the Busted Old Bulls ride once we’re all back on the bike :woohoo:
I think one of those OBT bike stickers should be automatically sent to any member with 175+ post and 5 +”Thanks” ….. maybe?
They are sexy stickers! 😆
