Thanks everyone for the words of support and offers of assistance …. and Toes for the offer of keeping my bike company
Don’t feel bad Mick, the day was awesome and I had a great time. It was my stupidity that ended in the injury, and my pig-headedness and “I’m fine, just keep riding” ignorance that didn’t make me speak up and say “take me home, I’m in sh*tloads of pain” :S I can tell you I felt every rock, every bump, and felt physically sick everytime I saw another damned log to cross during that last 30 k’s though   :silly:
All will be fine, staying positive and looking forward to being a bit ‘wiser’ as a result. Keeping my fingers crossed it all happens quickly and I mend for a guided tour of Maria SF from Ollie AND in time for the Birthday Bash in Seaview :woohoo: :woohoo:
Very cool!
The Great Wall of China!
I bought this brand-new for someone else (long story) and it ended up back with me. Does the job just fine and no trouble whatsoever. There’s a tiny bit of “you get what you pay for” with the interior finish, but hey it’s a ute!
So far it’s been great … touch-木 :silly:
That is VERY cool!
You might have to ride Lead, or Sweep, for every ride though now … as “advertising”
Happy Birthday Strucky! Still intend catching up with you down your way on a ride one day … soon hopefully.
Have a great day

Ace wrote:Good photo stm. Maybe we should start a thread with some of our early days of riding photos. A memory lane thread?? I reckon we could get a good laugh out of that  :laugh:I use to make an ex wear a stack hat with a flannel under it as a pillion when I lived on the Gold Coast
I agree … let’s do a “Memory Lane” thread  Photo’s of ourselves “in the day”.
STM that photo is GOLD! What about the goggles and facemask   Can’t remember what they were called, but I remember I had one that used to just sit over your chin/gob, I think it was called a Joffa?? As if they would protect you from anything?? Looked cool at the time though

   Cruel, but funny!

Katy (the 250SX) has only been ridden once, I’m aiming to change that very soon :woohoo: :woohoo:
That was freakin’ AWESOME! :woohoo: :woohoo:
And actually educational too …. I didn’t know that’s how a two-stroke “works”. Cool.

You had me at “cleaned up the MX track” … I’m there! Catch you next time.
Speaking of sleeping well; Kempsey is “no trucks heaven” now with the bypass open! Absolute bliss
Hey, that’s awesome you’re back on the bike Ollie! Wish I could have joined you for a tour of your back yard … My shoulder is nowhere near healed enough yet though
Got enough movement to start doing some stuff in the shed and on the bike however
Even gave my boots a good wash and dubbin yesterday, sparkling!
Good news on that front HB … doctor today in Sydney; “very pleased” with the speed of healing. Must say last three days it’s felt pretty good too. It had better coz I’ve been downing calcium and vitamin D3 like they’re Smarties!
Hopefully not long, Doc hinted at a couple more weeks (it’s been 2 weeks, 3 days so far).

Hey, just home and just noticed this!
Happy Birthday mate … keep up the MX’ing. 46 isn’t old at all (says he that’s the same age).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
