    Hello Whanny,
You could try lowering or raising the seat foam.
I know R&D Husky have options or you could get it done through your local motor trimmer :)

I’ve got to admit i’m with Boony on this!
It all seems to reek of effort :(
First of all there is a lot of discussion to get permission to ride this trail.
Then there is all the preparation required to set up for the adveture of it.
Then you have to find the exact spot and ride it like an A grader.
And after all this there is a good chance that the whole experience was only satisfactory for you and no one will be impressed with your efforts

Really sorry to hear about Mal. :(
He has always helped me out at Suttos with tech info, prices or just a chat.
I wish him all the best with his battle.

Fast Fill is a great idea!
No so sure about the gold coin for dropping your bike
I don’t think i can carry that much change in the bum bag

About 2 1/2 yrs ago i turned the big 50.
I had high blood pressure and a few extra kgs on board.
I didn’t realise how unfit i was until i had a ride at Louee and didn’t really enjoy it, in fact i spent more time off the bike resting than riding.
Decided to do something about it.
Moved the bikes up one end of the garage, put in some gym equipment that i bought off ebay and went on a protien lifestyle change (read diet).
I wasn’t trying to become Mr Super Fit but just feel a bit healthier.
I had all the usual excuses about not having enough time and not being able to maintain a regular diet (which is basically a cop out).
Anyway i managed to loose 30kgs in about 7 months and have kept it off.
I walk every morning no matter if i am at home or travelling. I work out in my garage gym while watching DVDs at night when the family is watching TV. I can easily maintain the protein diet because i am basically a carnavore and protein is mainly meat.
I have been able to significantly reduce my blood pressure medication to a point where i expect to come off it totally on my next visit to the doctor.

It’s not easy but if i can do it anyone can.
The only real issue is that you have to want to do it.
Once you start it bcomes a habit.

Oh! by the way Mick, get that prostate checked, it is a blood test now, not like the old days, although they will still check the old fashioned way if they think there is a problem.(or if you like you can request the old way! up to you)

I have had a brush with prostate problems and if i hadn’t had regular visits with the GP i would have been unaware of the dangers.(early detection is best).

    Agreed,
I suppose we should let this thread get back to wher it was before it turns into “garden tools i have used” 😆

I bow to a greater knowledge of whipper snippers / brushcutters ;)
Personally the whole “working in the garden thing” reeks of effort and interfers with riding time :)

    Yeh!
It could be a stihl but it looks like an aftermarket handle on it 😆

    Certainly looks like one.
The rear guard is not standard and the seat has been recovered but the paint work on the tank is standard for that model :)
They were a good bike, lite and easy to ride.
Would make a good farm bike so i can understand why it’s still in use.
We used a couple of ty250s and RL250s on our farm to chase cattle. :side:

Great to meet everyone at the Old Bulls Christmas Party :)
It helped to put faces to names as this was my first ride with OBTs
The Spud and I arrived Saturday about 11 and as the camp was empty we decided to throw up the tent :)
Bob arrived and as we had nothing better to do we went off for a ride along the fire trails and some of the single tracks around the area :woohoo:
We arrived back around the same time as the other group and after some lunch and a bit of fuel we headed off with the guys doing the fire trails :)
I drew the short straw and lead the ride, as i hadn’t been to Sunny Corner before and neither had anyone else it was a strong case of the blind leading the blind
The rain was starting to hurt  until i realised it was hail  stopping under the trees only changed the direction of the hail from horizontal to vertical
The trails were great and the corner man system was functioning well.
I thought that Sam may have some small mental issues when he pulled up next to me talking to himself in his helmet
All was cleared up when i realised the Adam, Merv and Sam had helmet radios :)
It was about this time that Merv decided to show everyone that he had a great pair of shackles 😆 (the things you find on a ride)
The rest of the ride was about as good as it gets :) a near miss with the native fauna nearly saw me wearing a skippy body suit but that,s all part of the fun.
At the end of the ride Gary01 did a sterling job of getting us back to camp surprising everyone including Gary :)
Back at camp it was time to dry off and set up around the fire for some bench racing. :)
One small disturbing point of the evening was Tom insisting on showing us the abrasions on his bum from his big stack:blush:
Sunday was not really inspiring me (or anyone else) so we packed up and headed home.

Thanks to Mal for orgainising a great location.
Suttos for donating the tool roll
Spud, Action, Gary01, Merv, Sam, Adam and Tom for the company on the trail ride.
Bob for showing The Spud and i some great single track.

I,m looking forward to the next OBTs ride

    Hello Mal and CathiM,

I have a line on the chemical loo so if you need me to bring it just give me a pm before 5 on Friday afternoon :)
I do not have an enclosure to go around it so if modesty is an issue  someone will have to organise one :)
