    Hello TB,
Did the rain drive you off the new bike?

    Hello Hatto,

Thanks for the goat info xrtrail it has certainly given me food for thought
I have always been a cow man myself but with a goat i guess you don’t have to keep running around the front to kiss them

Thanks TB, i feel much better about the “i like kissing men” thing :)
The fact is that although i am open to new experiences i was a little worried about the whole goat issue
So, just so i get this right when i go to Suttos i have to say “Mal & TB like kissing men” to the first person i meet and that will get me a discount :woohoo:
    Couldn’t be easier!

Good to read all about tyre changing :)
Have to agree though i avoid it like the plague
I have change many tyres in the past when HD tubes were not availble.
I now run HD tubes and have not had a flat in a long time :)
When i buy new tyres they are fitted for free so no problems there!
I have a set of Ballards tyre levers and they look the business so i am assuming if i ever need them they will be excellent
They have the different sizes of metric spanner cut outs in them, might help in a pinch but initially seem a bit gimmicky

Thanks to all for the greetings,
I have been wandering around the site and it looks good!
As i get more time i will definitely join some rides.
I am a little concerned about the underlying jealousy of the orange bikes.
Is there some latent feelings of collective inadequacy?

    Hello All,
Yes the Bridgestone had a rotary g/box which caused some problems if you bypassed 4th and ended up back in 1st.
The rock hopper had a suspended seat and the grass grub was rigid.
No idea what problem with activation was but all good now!
