Well I’m just back from the NAV ride, mind you we skipped the last day we had some bike issues and I’m coming down with the flu..

Any way a massive thanks to TB, Amy and others that put all this together it was a huge effort on your part and the tracks were great covered everything, I came off twice no biggie 1 on a u turn and the other on the mud. We pulled out of Wellington at 15:20ish and I managed to cop a nail in my back tyre on dark.

Huge thanks to Lefty, he had my back tyre off before I could get off the bloody thing mate really appericeated your help and enthusiasm. Also Ron for that beaut little electric pump and the two English gents (sorry forgot your names).

Thanks again all a great group of people!

That’s great mate, ok I’ll just plan to bring my 62 and the USB lead.

I finally worked out how to get the thing running today, it’s loaded with the Garmin topo maps just for NSW and the Simpson.

If I need to shell out for your software re the route, happy to do so.

As a GPS novice I bought a bare bones Garmin 62 for the June Nav ride, I’m guessing I’ll have to bring my laptop along on the Friday night to download the route onto it??

Thanks all for welcoming me I look forward to meeting up with you all, will get the mandatory GPS for the Lithgow ride and hopefully join in.

Used to ride with a group of blokes up the Kowmung every winter but that’s long disbanded just in my Toyota now hence finding you guys.

I reckon just a typical rider no fancy stuff but get along ok.
