We still run a pony express series up here in Central QLD. There is generally a good role up (over 100 riders) however the local clubs are struggling to survive because no one wants to put their hand up for the executive positions.
I did here that our brothers in the Mackay club (Central QLD) have put their hand up for next years 4 Day. They have a sweet block of land if they fluke the weather and dont ride the guts out of it prior to the race.

    Hey Guys

Just want to thank STM for his friendship and hospitality in making our stay at Coffs one to remember.

Spent a couple of days exploring STM’s forrest and found some awesome tracks, then went down to the Bello forrest for a day. Theres some serious hills there! Up the “western trail” to the “peak trail” if I remember correctly, was an experience just following our nose.

Still got some riding to do before we get home (if weather permits) and will post some pics.

STM did you find the “Amazon” yet? Dont go the wrong way!

Yer STM we are on track I think.
Just went for a 2 day warm up ride and the bikes and gear got trashed in the mud so didnt count on such a big job to get ready. Cant get anything dry.
Im leaving Rocky in the morn and will pick up my mate at Maryborough and we will be on our way.
Will PM you my mobile number

    Cheers 99

yer we’re single trackers as well. We like a good hill climb and a fast flowing tight ST.
My mate is better at the hills than me, hes still got a bit of youth on his side.

I run a rekluse as I race local enduros however the rekluse is not really the go on some steep hills as you dont have the clutch to take a bit of power out of it when needed

Without knowing how well you ride and where you expect to ride its pretty hard to comment.

If you use your big head you probably should buy a DRZ

If you use your little head you’ll get the kato!

Id get the Kato, I like using my little head.

We’ll make sure we are there before lunch Sun and hopefully you can take us for a couple of hours and give us the low down on where to go for the rest of the week. Any sort of luck one of the other boys may be able to take us for a lap also.

    Thanks
