Remember to Hydrate before going to bed
Esky is packed, beer, beef and bourbon ! Yumm.
Great post, thanks Evil.
But how do you know if “suspension” eg springsdampening is setup wrong for you ?
Cheers.
Bender,
Hopefully we will be getting out on Sunday for a ride too.
We are staying overnight near sussex inlet, so if weather, bikes and bodies are all good, we will do some riding.
TB,
Theres spare beds inside – no need to camp if you dont want to. Pretty sure theres a spare doublebed for you and Salina
Thanks Hatto,
Thats fine, 80 to 100 kms covers most ppl.
Are there any other OBT’ers planning on crashing overnight with us.
Kat has bagged a bed already, anyone willing to chance her snoring:dry:
Or gunna pitch a tent in the front yard ?
Anyone else coming on this ride ?
Hi TB,
It’s Cathi here. Am on a different laptop and can’t remember my password (doh!) so Riggs has logged on for me.
I’ve got a holiday house at Cudmirrah (near Sussex Inlet) and we’ll be staying there on Saturday night. We can sleep up to 7 and would welcome yourself, Salina and any other OBTs that want to stay. (There’s room for a tent or two in the front yard too if needs be).
We have a fire and hopefully Kat might stay too so there’s potential for drinking games, lol. :woohoo:
Conjola National Park is right across the road so a ride on Sunday is on the offer although there are plenty of other options too – beach, lake, fishing, mtb’s, walking etc.
Hope you can join us.
Cheers,
Cathi

Not a Bush man, Mick ?
Cheers Kat,
Theres a bed here with your name on it, anytime.
Yes Im in. :cheer:
Thinking this type of get together could even extend to the occassional BBQ, and crashing overnight on garage floors or tents in the backyard. Get the chance to let your hair down, I guess.
We have a small place here as we live in a townhouse, but could put up 2 or 3 ppl. Theres a grassed area around the corner where you could do a commando tent overnight, as we know the neighbours and they are cool.
We are in Wollongong, which may detract from the “Sydney” side of things, but the Gong is a pseudo southern suburb of Sydney anyway.
Whatever suits most ppl.
Hey Kat,
Hows things ?
Nice bike.
Have you been bitten by the Adventure riding bug ?
Whats the next trip your planning ?
Well its spose to be a Private trail, and Ill be real pissed if I find anyone riding it.
Tramo,
Machinery ? As far as I know only the Forestry clearing type machines have been used. What do you suggest I get to make the trails trim and tight again ?
I have a similar trail down here on the coast.
Its got very deep rutts now, prolly cos Ive ridden it so much.
Capt,
The trick to applying graphics is to lightly spray the sticky side with a mix of soap and water. Apply them and you will be able to slip and slide them into place.
When happy with the position, apply a little heat via a hairdryer, which will evaporate the soapwater mix, and the contact glue bites in.Quick vid of the Hill Climb attempts
