Nah I need to fit the restrictor!!!!!! My boy is nearly 4 but is only a light weight so the bike ges too fast for him (says mum!) even with only about 1cm of throttle movement!!!!!! I clocked him at 37km/hr next to him on my Berg!

I got it up to 140 before running out of road.

Got a bit of headshake so had to hang on to try and push through it.

Will try the top speed soon!

    Good report,
howd you’s go with drinking that water?

I did get a bit of a head ache driving home. Could have been the water, could have been the heat & exhaustion, or maybe possibly the leech stuck on me forehead!!!!!

Thanks for telling me Murph when ya snapped that shot of me filling up my camelbak. Wonder how long it was there for!

You mean the water from the creek? I was fine. I actually drank it the next day as well without ill effects. The bloke with the leech on his forehead was a crack up. I still have to go down to the Chemist and get some worm/parasite tablets… The 2 days I was there I scored leeches, a tick on my head and a scorpion in our tent. Who knows what’s in my guts right now….

    Glad I could entertain someone!

Whatever is in ya gut would’ve killed ya already! You’ll be right.

    Hey Moto
I will have a jerry can of unmixed 98fuel with a 1 litre container hidden at spot X. So if anybody needs to spill a couple of litres in, it will be measured accurately …………. Yes take some extra fuel to leave at the car for the first little warm up loop which runs for about 15kms:)
    Cheers
    Murph

I’m not sure about how many km’s we are talking or even how many I can go on my tank, but I will refuel after the warm up loop, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be wanting prob 4-5L somewhere on track. Haven’t had the bike for long and hard to judge fuel level (odd shape tank).

Will u have enough for me to buy off you or can you dump some somewhere for me if I bring extra in a jerry?

    And I’m now a definate

I’ve just had a run on the dirt with the bike and the tyres aren’t too bad. they areb more grippy than I was game to push to the bike. The red power valve spring makes a big difference to performance. I can’t ride it like I can my 450 though….it will come with saddle time.

TB the tyre would have been swapped and used for one of the other bikes anyway, sorry mate.

The weekend looks like it could be great for a ride, half thinking about woosing out and taking the 4 banger as the smoker seems to run rich (rough) at lower RPM’s off the pipe and it’s annoying.

That’s kinda funny, I’m in a similar position with my bike, except opposite, came off 300, onto 4 banger. Only ridden the Berg a few times in bush and still ride it like a 2T. I guess it is saddle time! I liked the red spring!

Nice aray of toys ya got there.

I had a 02 300 and stuffed around a bit with the jetting and springs. I found you really need a good ride to notice all the changes that the springs make, as well as the obvious immediate changes. I left the red in and went for 13/50 sprockets, good fun! 13/52 may have been better.
