    Nickj has got it Murph.

Take the calliper off and get it as low as you can, place something about the size of your disc between the pads.
Make sure the tube on the bleed screw is tired on tight so no air can get in, place some brake fluid in a bottle and place the other end of the tube in this. Open your bleed screw up to start pumping the new fluid will come through and get the air out.

Make sure the open end of your bleed hose always stays under the fluid in your bottle it can’t suck any air back in then.

    Hope this heaps.

If all else fails just ride it without the back brake it didn’t seem to slow you down at all Sat Afternoon

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you work and home life have been really busy.

Bloody son blow up the gearbox in his car so my hidden funds have taken a substantial hit.

At this stage i am only a maybe and will contact Sutto’s first thing Monday if i can get it to come together.

I really appreciate the big effort that has gone into getting the lower price.

    Cheers

    Hi TB,

Sorry to mess you around can i please change the size from XL to L

After trying Nickj’s XL ( thanks heaps Nick) although when i measured my knee at 39.5mm when i fitted Nick’s on the XL’s were wound right in on the adjustors. I aslo had a thermo knee gaurd on at the same time.

This might help some others that measure right on the limit of L to XL

    Thanks heaps

in reply to: Damaged Bolt Removal #246955

Best tip I can give here is if the bolt has broke because it is locked in the threads the chance of getting it out with an easy out is very low.
Take you time and drill out the bolt even if you only keep going up one drill size at a time it is still a whole lot easier then trying to get a broken easyout out.
Through the easy outs out of your toolbox all together

in reply to: Helicoil vs Time sert #246943

I have used the helicoil branded ones for a long time in my workshop and have found them easy to fit and extra strong.
Have used them heaps in alloy chainsaw engines. The only negative I found was sometimes when you are removing a bolt were a coil has been used the coil can wind out as well.
There are a lot of different ones on the market I also find that the size you have to drill out to fit the coil with helicoils is only minimal.

    Just my opinion
