Nice work Nick
To get the pic of the hobbit into a thread about grips :cheer: :cheer:
I would have thought that the hobbits would have had some special tree sap to glue there grips on with :woohoo: :woohoo:Cheers
RobertHeat gun is the go Works a treat
I have straightened brake and gear levers by heating them and slowly applying
Pressure. I have also used Chickens oxy method as well and also works great just don’t get it to hot!!!!
That’s where the hot gun is easier
Good luck with it MickCheers

Hi All,
Great thread idea STM we all should be able to pick up and give out some good tips. :woohoo:
I was looking at getting a new camera and was going to get the new go pro until i came across the contour roam searching on the net.
So now the problem is what to buy?So I was wondering has anyone got or have used the contour roam, and is it as good as it reads on the net.
I have read good things about it. Fully sealed unit, waterproof to 1mt and from what i have read takes a good vid.
Would be interested in some feedback before i part company with the cash.Cheers
Rob400Stuffed up my photobucket will try again
The all in Hobbit pics are on the way.
Cant find the cord for the camera have ordered a card reader should be here tomorrow.Hi Holeshot,
I have been running 14/47 on my 09 DRZ and find in good for the steep hills.
Having the 14 tooth on the front is not as hard on the chain guides and won’t wear them out quiet as quick.
Cheers
RobertGreat ride reports even better pics and videos. Brings back some great memories :woohoo: :woohoo:
Awsome StuffFebruary 26, 2012 at 11:26 pm in reply to: Singles, beers, BBQ, Grass Tracking, Cinema, Hobbits #216968What an awesome weekend spent with a great bunch of blokes. We headed off on Friday just after lunch fully loaded up with bikes and beer – what else were we going to need? The laughs and ribbing started before we’d made it out of the Clarence Valley and didn’t stop for the whole weekend. :woohoo:
Thanks Mick and family for your hospitality and for putting up with us all.
TB and Mick a huge thanks to you blokes for inviting me along. I had a ball.
Thanks Moose for running us thru some of the sweetest singles and steep rutted hills we’ve faced in a while!
The grass track racing made us all feel like kids again and was heaps of fun.
The more old bulls I meet the more I wonder how I ever survived not being a part of this scene for so long.
Nick and Spud I can’t wait for our next road trip and to look in the rearvision mirror of the Hilux and see the hobbit squashed up in the back again- priceless.
Everyone else – it was great to meet you all. Thanks for your company and the laughs. I’m looking forward to our next hit out.
CheersGreat footage Nato,
Did you buy the motorsport kit, Is this the best one to go for?
Has anyone tried the chestmount or is the view to low?Great to see the gasgas going well for you now
Cheers
