oki more info for the undecided…….

This ride will require you to work, yes nothing is free!!!
be at the gates at 8.00am sharp you will be required to clean about 1 to 2klm of track, don’t worry this won’t take long all the hard work was done last weekend..
Also work will be done on the gully crossing on said track,so as not to eat the bottom out of it creating a huge rut that clowns will sit in chewing it out at full noise going no where, yes people do that!!!!!..
After this there will be a 80klm loop of snot to ride, can do more but haven’t found anyone looking for more than that in the last month so will keep it at that, see how we feel after the first loop……
I am not giving out a location here but can meet and greet at macca’s beaudesert 7.00am sharp if your interested or arrange some where else if your coming from the kyogle side…….
bring your licence, rego bike in good working order, good riding gear, all spares and any food beverages you may need…..no shops or fuel because i hate going into town….

Are there different compounds available in each of the lines (Carlsbad, Washougal & Millville etc)??
yes you can get the sticky or normal compound the sticky being a little more expensive….

If so, the old competition rule is: soft terrain – use a hard compound, hard terrain – use a soft compound, not sure till you get there – have a tyre ready on a spare wheel for each possibility.

i should have also mentioned that the millville sticky can be run in both directions one giving you a softer tyre…. re it allows the knobs to flex and bend more.

i have been thinking about this as i have always fitted mine in the softer mode, thought is next time i will run it in the harder mode till about 1/3rd wear then rotate it because i think there will be more than ample hook up in the harder direction as well….

You do have spare wheels don’t you?

great read sirdropalot sounded like an epic day out, pics were great as well…..

when a few of the guys that i know ride there often say it’s getting extremely difficult, makes you think twice about heading up there.

looks rutted out big time, when managers hill is getting near impossiable to climb and only one was able to ascend good luck hill…

mmmmmm think i might wait for the dozer to go through again……..
