You could also look at a new WR 2 stroke husqvarna.
No electric start but ask anyone who owns a 2 stroke ktm with electric leg and most will tell you they fail anyhow.
We have the following available NEW
2011 WR250 (2 stroke) $8,490 ride away
2012 WR300 (2 stroke) $9,690 ride away
includes 12 months NSW rego + 12 months warranty.Rad hard chroming in Brisbane do it. Don’t have the number on me but I’m sure they will come up on google. Prob worth;
-check price of new chrome leg
– get someone who knows to check itThey are going to be an awesome road bike with a bit of off road capability but I don’t see it been anywhere near as good as a GS1200 in the dirt.
Also I agree on the sound, if we get a demo one of these it’s getting a slip on ASAP!Nickj wrote:micknmeld wrote:Well done Rory, getting a review like this out of a pommy. You know how they can whinge. :laugh:hi nick, no idea how to pm on mobile but I just wanted to check u got your bits!
It’s like used tyre madness sale on here lol
We have about a hundred out the back of shop, m I sitting on a gold mine?
Some bastard charges me $2.40 a tyre to steal them off me normally.10 points for a top question lol
I’m pretty sure you need to buy a special charger (been told around $65 n due v soon), also these are apparently the only Lith ions that are fully waterproof. We can also get shorai brand but they are not waterproof.I’d buy it on the spot for that! we sold an 09 last week for $5500 and the bloke drove up from Newcastle. At least we will trade them in unlike the majority of KTM dealers who must be scared lol
Will be advertised for $4,990 after detailing, service and rock star graphics fitted.
Mick, I’m experienced in communicating with the sophisticated, well spoken English gentlemen from my time racing over there lol….but I arrso torrk warrropian
Sounds good but that pic looks like a tarted up WR250/300 that’s a current model. It does look trick though with bare metal pipe and red clamps etc.
We actually have one o these left in a 2011 which is $9,990 ride away with 12 months reg n warranty!Nice one…that’ll save me a shitload of time n money over the years!
Compliance plates should be next!Nickj wrote:Hi Rory , great to see a new sponsor , I will be calling you tomorrow for new chain and sprockets for my Crf as the originals are now f..edWelcome to old bulls :woohoo:
Nick
hi nick, tried ringing a few times this arv but your mobile was scratchy as. Give us a call at the shop in the morn as I have all the bits aside bar a f spkt (b there Friday) and a few options on dampers. My email is rrock@rockmotorcycles.com.au if that’s easier to do that.
Pretty positive feedback on the 310 and I would agree its a better bike than the 250 but you should way up the price diff.
There’s no more 11 310’s anywhere new far as I know.
I’ve got 12 Te310’s and also 2011 TE250’s. The 250’s are going out at $9,290 ride away with a husky quick shade. 310’s are about $12k ride away but I can’t remember exactly.
If you are buying used you should really study the price as new ones are cheap in enduros at the moment.
We do have an 09 te310 which is the older engine ie big bore te250 from 08 and prior. It’s on our site http://www.rockmotorcycles.com.au under used bikes.wazzup wrote:$6.690 sounds like a bargain, i’m guessing it’s not registerable?yes it’s regod and ride away at $6690! It’s probaly going to make a mess of drz, klx and ttr 250 sales.
