Don’t know about sleeping in the bunk house at Ensay, let’s hope that everybody is worn out enough to not notice the snoring.

Hey TB,
It was me, at lest the photo at Jenolan was with the bike standing upright. So I supose this means from now on it will be camera in hand, ready to shoot. One consultation at least I made it Oberon under my own steam. What a great weekend.
Thanks to Trailboss and all the other helpers that organized this fantastic ride.
Thanks to Boulder and his crew for letting me tag along, I had a fantastic time on the ride and at Woodstock on Saturday night. Thanks again to everyone who made this possible, can’t wait until the next ride.
Thanks Boulder
Please put me in for this one thanks TB.
See how I go this time, done a few mods on the Tiger to try and prevent some damage, I figured that was easier than learning to ride!
I need to find a buddy if anyone can help.Hi Wigster,
I had the same issue with the front wheel removal so I made an adaptor to go from the 17mm to an 8mm allen key. I does the trick well and doesn,t take up any room in the toolkit. i have seen something similar on line for sale but it is a lot cheaper and more convenient if you make one yourself.Ron
Hi All,
I ride a Tiger 800XC and use a throttle lock on long rides (similar to a “Go Cruise”) it only takes a few seconds fit and remove is very cheap and works well enough to allow you to take your right hand off the throttle for a enough time to stretch and relax without stopping. There are some disadvantages though, it does take a bit of room on the grip and is really only effective on flat ground to maintain an even speed. I have used it on a ride to Cairns and a ride through Victoria but ideally I would love to have a full on cruise control.I hope this helps.
Ron

ronsant@bigpond.comHi Wigster,
Can be a bit flexible with time, I just didn’t want to do much in the dark.
Tyres, tyres, tyres. What a can of worms.
I had just fitted my second set of Michelin Anakee 2’s and have done less than 200km on them. The first set saw 12000 km and I was extremely happy with them on road and very surprised with them off road and if this ride was in summer I would probably be happy enough using them but of course it is winter and more than likely it will be wet so I bought a set of Metzeler Karoo T and then did the unthinkable and fitted them myself only with the tools and equipment I will be carrying. I surprised myself, been 30 years since I fitted a tyre and didn’t pinch a tube! So now my concern is how bad are these going to be on the road.Ron
