What about on the frame somewhere a black box rubber mounted thingy mabob under the petrol tank or near the front sprocket above mounted to the frame? These are a guess and my 400 is a 2003 model so it must be somewhere just follow all the wires to see where they go is there much difference in any of the XR set up over the years have they changed much?

Wow Wauchope the place to be! Firstly the trails are bloody great here and I need more practice and the second issue Micks shed is as big as my house and he has enough stuff to start his own shop I would like to thank TRIPPER & Ricardo[KUNTAKINTA? im not sure how to spell it These boy’s took my through stuff that I wasn’t sure of and hill climbs were great {thanks Tripper for starting my bike and getting it up the hill I was rooted before it began to even started to get hard.My new rear tyre has chunks off it already and I feel there is a lot more to see here .I have taken some pics but I am not sure if I can post them as my computer skills are worse than my riding.Will get TB to help through the week maybe another funny photo caption contest with Trippers face on it.Once again I would like to thank the boys for showing me around the tracks and for waiting for me

I take that you have seen a lot of horrible shit Scotty when I ride on the road i am always watching what every other idiot on the road is doing :angry: It is a big concern but we can only try to do the right thing and be patient.Trust me Cabramatta is a bad place for driving its a nightmare for parking and my nerves.The things that make me mad are people who drive 10ks under the speed limit and indicate late and P plate rev heads who must race everyone this is why it costs so much to register your bike/car or what ever you are using on the road the only way it can be controlled is by the police and RTA.People need to see more of the stuff they had on 60 minutes the other week about a young girl who lost her legs in a car accident maybe they might think about what can happen.Like on the cigie packs a bit of shock treatment might help.

My xr was filthy when I bought it the headers were caked on with rust and baked on mud I used a wire brush that you put on the drill it took a bit of time and then good old wd40 to stop shit from sticking to it the pipes changed colour to a yellow bronze like colour but I can live with that my mate reconds I have too much time on my hands thats because he only wan’ts to ride every 6 months
