Clarke tank is the go, still runs the standard shrouds.

Safari tanks replace the shroud with the tank moulding, a couple of fals and it will look shabby, they can only be bought through Yamaha dealers as there is an agreement in place with Safari.

    I’d buy from here

I like the hard chest plate of my ZAC armour.But………..have had plenty of cuts where ive sliced my shoulders on trees in between the gap of shoulder cover and the bicep cover that seems to slide all over the place doing sfa. I reakon the zac with the body suit addition would almost give you the best of both worlds being almost a pressure suit and a roost armour rolled into one. Only draw back is $$. Ive never tried a pressure suit so probably a tad biased there as well.

I’ve got the Zac Speed pressure suit, considering it is designed to work with the outer armour it doesn’t work. You need to remove the hard plastic shells that are sewn & glued to the shoulders. If you don’t you can’t move your arms upwards.

Might have something to do with wearing a Leatt.

Quality is poor as mine is only twelve months old & is falling apart.

The kidney belt sits under my arm pits.

    Extremely hot, great in winter

    What a day!

Awesome trails with heaps of variety.

Lotsa set a cracking pace, with minimal stops.

    Ran over two snakes

Longest wheelstand goes to Tryhard, just not sure which one was the longest.

Thanks Lotsa & Tryhard awesome ride.

Questions Crash. Does the ‘single’ assault mean:

    a) First and only one time look for me in the top ten racer boy type single go at Condo

    b) I’m using a single cylinder bike and I’m cool for doing so :silly:

    c) I’m entering as a single rider, no help wanted, needed or given. Just me the bike and a million rocks along fence lines at silly speeds.

    I got nothing really.

No Mal, single assault means…..he normally has a BRO for company!

Also, whilst there certainly are plenty of fenceline runs at Condo, it is a mix of very different terrains at times……creek beds, twin trail, rocky uphills & downhills, bulldust, wide tree/bush lined single etc.

You gotta have a go navigating/ racing at least once!

    Crash

    AAAAHHHHHH Crash,

Names might be on a list.

    Then again I’m not doing Transmoto. ( I’m doing 5 forests )

Have done a few events alone recently, although my bro has done rides on his own as well.

Not my first time at Condo, Condo is like a second home to me these days.

All your clues don’t just point to me

I forgot about TBs’ gaylord handguards! No….it’s not TB……it’s a 2 day race, so it’d be no good for the chief.

How about his close relation posting previously by trying to throw people off the scent by bringing TB into it!

    Crash

This is getting more interesting by the minute…..

Thanks Cathi not EFI though.Does anyone own or Know of A late model WR450 that will start in gear?

My 09 does, 4000 or so km.

Like badbowie pointed to earlier, it could be clutch drag as he had that problem last weekend when we rode.

Mine definitely has a little drag as it turns over slower than when in neutral, although since my bike was rejetted recently, it rarely is hard to start.

Funny you should mention that Stuart. Probably a 5 Forrests ride on Saturday or Sunday 12/13 March. I’ll will probably be cut short due to my lack of fitness but we’ll give it a crack.

Saturday would be my preference at the moment, Sunday would be 50/50 at this stage with work coverage.

As much as I’d like to be there, Work is full on at the moment & I’ve got a couple of other things coming up that I should pay some attention to in the small amount of free time I’ve got.

I’m sure you & Capt will have a heap of fun, no matter how much riding gets done

I’ve got a pair of these
    http://www.dmme.com.au/IMC%20Camos.htm

Reasonably happy, did a lot of research before I bought these a couple of year ago.

Dale is extremely helpful & I’ve had mine modified so I can run moulded audio ear plugs & just plug into a 3.5mm audio socket. As well as the standard speakers in the helmet.

Also have the Blue Tooth Adaptor, converts any audio 3.5mm output withoutblue tooth ie older ipods etc
